AKYPO LM-40 is a brand-new ether carboxylate surfactant specially designed for use in open plant cleaning (OPC) processes, mainly in the food and beverage industry. 
AKYPO LM-40 presents good eco-toxicity profile, outstanding foam retention, creamy and stable foam and stability in extreme conditions. 
In addition this concentrated product does not include any solvent. 
AKYPO LM-40 is compatible with all types of surfactants commonly used in OPC applications and shows a remarkable foaming performance in alkaline formulations combined with amphoteric surfactants such as amine oxides and betaines. 
AKYPO LM-40 is dense and stable foam at high pH. 
AKYPO LM-40 is stable in extreme pH conditions.

Foam ability and retention time depend on the ratio between AKYPO®LM-40 and amphoteric surfactants such as Amine Oxides or Sulfobetaines.
These amphoteric surfactants are selected according to the alkali content.

• AKYPO LM-40 IS A SURFACTANT SPECIALLY DESIGNED FOR USE IN OPEN PLANT CLEANING (OPC) PROCESSES, MAINLY IN THE FOOD AND BEVERAGE INDUSTRY:
• AKYPO LM-40 IS COMPATIBLE WITH ALL TYPE OF SURFACTANTS COMMONLY USED IN THE OPC APPLICATIONS, AND SHOWS A REMARKABLE FOAMING PERFORMANCE IN ALKALINE FORMULATIONS COMBINDED WITH AMPHOTERIC SURFACTANTS SUCH AS AMINE OXIDES OR BETAINES.
• PREFERRED RATIOS AS ACTIVE MATTER OF AKYPO LM-40 VERSUS OTHER COSURFACTANTS RANGE FROM 4:1 TO 1:1.
• RECOMMENDED CONCENTRATION OF USE OF SURFACTANTS FOR OPC APPLICATION IS AROUND 0.5% ACTIVE MATTER OF THE PRODUCT DILUTED IN WATER.
