Emulsogen EPN 407 is used as nonionic emulsifier for the emulsion polymerization of monomers like acrylates, styrene-acrylates, styrene-butadiene and vinyl acetate.
Use
Emulsogen EPN 407 is used in polymerization of vinyl acetate together with other vinyl esters, acrylates, vinyl chloride and ethylene, for acrylate and styrene / acrylate dispersions and for butadiene / styrene latex.
The use of Emulsogen EPN 407 reduces coagulation and improves
electrolyte resistance and freeze/thaw stability.
Emulsogen EPN 407 is added either during or after polymerization.
Storage and Shelf Life
Please keep the product in a dry and clean place.
When the product has cooled down to less than 15°C, please heat it up to 40°C – 45°C, after stirring it is ready to use again.
The material should be stored in tightly closed containers at 20-25°C in a clean and aerated place.
The shelf life is 730 days after the date of production.
After expiration, the product should be analyzed for extension of the shelf life.
Emulsogen EPN 407 is a preservative-free, APEO-free, non-ionic emulsifier.
Emulsogen EPN 407 reduces coagulation and improves electrolyte resistance and freeze/thaw stability.
Emulsogen EPN 407 maintains low viscosity of polymer emulsion at different shear rates.
This low-VOC & FDA approved product is used in polymerization of vinyl acetate together with other vinyl esters, acrylates, vinyl chloride & ethylene, acrylate and styrene/acrylate dispersions and butadiene/styrene latex.
