NIPACIDE OIT is a low toxicity biocide specifically developed for the complete microbiological protection of water based and solvent based products against algal and fungal spoilage in the dry state. 
NIPACIDE OIT is a Glycol based liquid. 

NIPACIDE OIT is described chemically as a solution of 2-octyl-2H-isothiazoline-3-one. 
NIPACIDE OIT is recommended for a wide range of applications including paints, adhesives and sealants where protection is required in the dry state.

NIPACIDE OIT is a clear glycolic solution, dry film fungicide, free from Carbendazim and diuron. 
NIPACIDE OIT has been developed for the complete dry film protection of water based coatings. 
NIPACIDE OIT is effective against a wide range of fungal and algal species, responsible for the discoloration and degradation of surface coatings. 

NIPACIDE OIT is a member of the class of 1,2-thiazole that is 1,2-thiazol-3-one substituted on the nitrogen (position 2) by an octyl group. 
A fungicide and antibacterial agent, NIPACIDE OIT is used for treatment of canker and other fungal and bacterial diseases in fruit trees.

Applications of NIPACIDE OIT:
NIPACIDE OIT is effective against mildew, bacteria, and fungi. 
NIPACIDE OIT is widely used in a variety of industrial applications such as water treatment, paper pulp, coating & painting, metal cutting fluid, personal care products, cosmetics, etc.

NIPACIDE OIT is recommended for protection of a wide range of coating applications including water based decorative paints, wood stains and colours. 
NIPACIDE OIT can also be used in solvent based applications. 
NIPACIDE OIT is effective against a wide range of spoilage moulds and yeasts.

NIPACIDE OIT is a low toxicity, high efficiency, broad-spectrum antifungal agent, has a strong killing effect on mould, can achieve the ideal antifungal effect. 
NIPACIDE OIT can be widely used in coatings, paints, lubricants, shoe oils, leather chemistry, wood products and cultural relics protection and many other products. 
VOC-free, stable under strong light and high temperature, broad-spectrum and efficient sterilization, can effectively prevent bacteria and fungi in plastics.

Use level of NIPACIDE OIT: 
NIPACIDE OIT should be evaluated in finished products at levels between 0.20% and 1.0%. 
The level of protection will depend on many factors including the end destination of coating, relative humidity, sun strength and others and can be determined by evaluation by our team of microbiologists at the Clariant Microbiology facility

Sealed and stored in a cool, dry and ventilated place.
