USES OF TERT-BUTYLAMINE:


Tert-Butylamine is an effective solvent for the removal of surfactants such as PVP and capping agents such as KBr from the nanoparticle surface.
Mixed complexes of platinum, amino acid and Tert-Butylamine show potent anti-tumor activities.

Tert-Butylamine is an effective base for the aziridination of 2-arylethenyl(diphenyl)sulfonium salt to form the corresponding N-tert-butylaziridine.
Tert-Butylamine is used as an intermediate in the preparation of the sulfenamides such as N-tert-butyl-2-benzothiazylsulfenamide and N-tert-butyl-2-benzothiazylsulfenimide. 

As rubber accelerators, Tert-Butylamines modify the rate of vulcanization of rubber. 
A variety of pesticides are derived from this amine, including terbacil, terbutryn, and terbumeton.

In pharmacology under the name erbumine, tert-butylamine has been used as a counterion in drug substances such as perindopril erbumine.
Tert-Butylamine is used as a precursor for the preparation of rubber accelerators, pharmaceuticals and dyes. 

Tert-Butylamine is employed in synthesis of N-tert-butyl-acetamide, isoquinolines, pyridines, decumbenine, sulfontes, sulfonamides and methyl beta-ketophosphonate. 
Tert-Butylamine is also used in the study the effect of amines in influencing atmospheric sulfuric acid - water nucleation, hydroamination of terminal alkynes and measuring the surface acidity of solid catalyst. 

Tert-Butylamine acts as an indicator molecule in the study of NMR -based pH determination method.
