DESCRIPTION:
3,5-Dimethylpyrazole is an organic compound with the formula (CH3C)2CHN2H. 
3,5-DMP (3,5 DIMETHYLPYRAZOLE) is one of several isomeric derivatives of pyrazole that contain two methyl substituents. 
3,5-DMP (3,5 DIMETHYLPYRAZOLE) is unsymmetrical but the corresponding conjugate acid (pyrazolium) and conjugate base (pyrazolide) have C2v symmetry. 
3,5-DMP (3,5 DIMETHYLPYRAZOLE) is a white solid that dissolves well in polar organic solvents.
3,5-DMP (3,5 DIMETHYLPYRAZOLE) is a precursor to a variety of ligands that are widely studied in coordination chemistry including trispyrazolylborate, a trispyrazolylmethane, and a pyrazolyldiphosphine.
Condensation of acetylacetone and hydrazine gives 3,5-dimethylpyrazole:
CH3C(O)CH2C(O)CH3   +   N2H4   →   (CH3C)2CHN2H   +   2 H2O
3,5-DMP (3,5 DIMETHYLPYRAZOLE) has found use as a blocking agent for isocyanates.

USES OF 3,5-DMP (3,5 DIMETHYLPYRAZOLE):
Uses:
•    Blocking agent for blocked isocyanates
•    Raw material for organic synthesis chemistry

DMP is mainly used as (blocking agent) sealant of cross-linking agent for producing Isocyanate.
3,5-DMP blocked urethane resin for automotive OEM clear coats, electrode position and coil-coatings.
3,5-DMP is non-volatile, and it can reduce the emissions when roasting, 3,5-DMP is full inertia and low toxin in finished doped.
3,5-Dimethylpyrazole is common reagent for the preparation of pyrazolato ligated complexes.
3,5-Dimethylpyrazole is also used to prepare N-1-substituted derivatives having antibacterial activity.
3,5-Dimethylpyrazole is used as intermediate for the manufacture of organic dyestuffs and photochemicals. 
3,5-Dimethylpyrazole is a catalyst in the sulfonation of acetic anhydride to sulfoacetic acid and methanedisulfonic acid. 
3,5-Dimethylpyrazole has been used in the synthesis of bipyrazolic tripodal derivatives with in vitro antitumor, antifungal and antibacterial activities.
