Addovate BA is an aqueous PUR dispersion.
Addovate BA acts as a bonding agent for improved adhesion of PUR rigid integral skin foam to metal surfaces.

Addovate BA is applied where improved adhesion between rigid integral skin foam and metal reinforcement parts or other metal surfaces is required.
Addovate BA has a shelf life of six months.

Applications of Addovate BA:
Addovate BA is applied where improved adhesion between rigid integral skin foam and metal reinforcement parts or other metal surfaces is required.
The contact areas of the metal surface must be clean, dry, dust-, dirt- and greasefree.

The bonding agent can be applied either by brush, airless method, or by dipbath.
Addovate BA is recommended to use approx. 25 - 50 g of the compound per m².

This corresponds to 10 - 20 g/m² solid content and a layer thickness of approx. 10 - 20 μm.
The bonding agent film ought to be dried at 80 °C - 100 °C.

At 80 °C - 100 °C the drying time is approx. 15 min at a layer thickness of 10 μm, approx. 30 min at a layer thickness of 20 μm.
Working tools are to be thoroughly rinsed and cleaned with water immediately after use.
The impregnated metal parts can be stored without loss of efficiency up to approx. 3 weeks (Avoid dust exposure!).

Packaging of Addovate BA:
Plastic drums, contents 210 kg.

Storage conditions of Addovate BA:
The Addovate BA containers should be kept closed at all times to ensure that the surface of the liquid does not dry out.
Addovate BA is sensitive to frost and should not be stored at temperatures below 5 °C.

At temperatures ≤ 0 °C Addovate BA will become irreversibly damaged.
When Addovate BA is stored in firmly closed original containers at 20 to 30 °C, a shelf-life of 9 months from manufacturing date can be expected.

The contents have to be thoroughly homogenized before use.
The containers should be resealed tightly after use to prevent contamination by impurities.

Handling of Addovate BA:
Consult the safety data sheet for relevant safety data & references as well as possibly necessary warning labels.
