Addovate Thermostab is an aromatic ester of phosphoric acid.
Addovate Thermostab acts as a sterically hindered antioxidant acting against thermo-oxidative degradation which may occur during processing as a result of thermal, oxidative and mechanical stress.
Addovate Thermostab is non-ionic and also acts as an anti-oxidative radical interceptor (primary antioxidant) due to its sterically hindered molecular structure. It scavenges hydroperoxides without forming colour bodies in a stoichiometrical reaction by forming alcohol, simultaneously oxidising the phosphite to the corresponding phosphate (secondary antioxidant).
Compatible with of PC/ABS, PA/ABS, TPU, ABS and PA against thermo-oxidative degradation during processing in the melt.
Addovate Thermostab has a shelf life of 6 months.

Addovate Thermostab belongs to the material group of organic phosphite and is used as non-ionic, sterically hindered antioxidant acting against thermo-oxidative degradation which may occur during processing as a result of thermal, oxidative and mechanical stress.
Uses of Addovate Thermostab:
The main fields of application of Addovate Thermostab are the stabilization of PC/ABS, PA/ABS, TPU, ABS and PA against thermo-oxidative degradation during processing in the melt.

Storage stability of Addovate Thermostab:
Addovate Thermostab should be stored at a temperature of 10 - 25 °C (optimal storage temperature) if possible.
In the colder season of the year it may occur that Addovate Thermostab becomes fully or partly crystalline during transport.
In this case Addovate Thermostab should be stored at a temperature between 20 - 25 °C where it will become liquid within 1 - 2 weeks.
Exposure to higher temperatures should be avoided, particularly over long periods of time.
Addovate Thermostab is mildly hygroscopic.
To prevent it from adsorbing water from the atmosphere, the container should always be resealed tightly after use.
The shelf life of Addovate Thermostab is 6 months (originally packed).
