aliphatic glycidyl ether (alkyl glycidyl ether) AGE

View:
Aliphatic glycidyl ether, obtained from C12-C14 higher fatty alcohols and epichlorohydrin, its chemical name is C12-14 alkyl glycidyl ether (AGE), a low toxic, low volatile liquid.

Application:
The thinner for epoxy resins SM90 has a very low viscosity, high environmental friendliness, volatility and safety in use. All this allows the use of active diluents in the production of a wide range of finished products. The use of an active diluent has several advantages over conventional solvents. It is a functional product containing an epoxy group, due to which, during curing, they participate in the formation of a polymer network. A modern and environmentally friendly epoxy thinner, also known as AGE, contains epoxy and ester molecules that have a strong ability to reduce the viscosity of general purpose epoxy resins. It has found wide application in the production of bulk polymer floors, adhesives and decorative compositions. It participates insignificantly in the curing process, forming a single system. Due to its plasticizing property, it gives the final product additional plasticity. Also has wetting properties for non-polar surfaces and fillers. Used for the manufacture of low-viscosity epoxy compounds, widely used in the preparation of solvent-free coatings, adhesives, adhesives,
sealing electronics.

A close analogue of DEG-1 Resin
