AGITAN P 841

AGITAN P 841 is recommended for application in dry blends which are dissolved in water before application. 
The addition of AGITAN P 841 results in low foaming solutions, specifically aqueous pastes or masses with very low air content. 
In some mortar systems AGITAN P 841 shows a plasticizing effect, meaning the spreading value is increased. 

AGITAN P 841 is ideal for jointless flooring compounds. 
In some systems setting time is prolonged but curing time is not influenced.

AGITAN P 841 is a white powder that is a blend of defoamer components on silica. 
AGITAN P 841 has low foaming action and plastisizing properties and is commonly used for construction and industrial adhesives.

AGITAN P 841 is a mixture of defoamers (based on vegetable oils and polyglycols) fixed on silica. 
AGITAN P 841 contains 55% active ingredient and is intended for use in powder coatings that are diluted in water before use. 
With AGITAN P 841, solutions with little foaming, aqueous pastes or masses with a very low air bubble content are obtained. 

In some dry mortars, AGITAN P 841 shows a plasticizing effect and improves flow. 
AGITAN P 841 is ideal for seamless floor systems. 
In some systems, an increase in setting time is observed, however, no effect on cure time is observed.

-Fugues and plasters.
-Self-levelling masses.
-Screeds (on a cement and anhydride basis).
-Gypsum.
-Cement.
-Masonry solutions.
-Powder paints.
-Adhesives.

Recommended dosages and usages of AGITAN P 841:
The dosage of the defoamer is on average 0.1 - 1.0% by weight of the final product. 
The optimal dosage of AGITAN P 841 should be established by preliminary tests. 
The use of AGITAN P 841 is convenient in terms of easy flow, low dusting and ease of injection.

Storage and processing of AGITAN P 841:
AGITAN P 841 is a frost resistant product. 
However, in order to improve AGITAN P 841s processing, the product should be stored at 15 - 25 °C. 
The minimum shelf life of AGITAN P 841 in unopened containers is 12 months from the date of production.
