FIRST AID


Inhalation:
Move the affected person to fresh air.
Keep the person calm and comfortable for breathing.
Seek medical attention if coughing, dizziness, headache, or respiratory discomfort develops.

Skin Contact:
Remove contaminated clothing and shoes.
Wash the affected skin thoroughly with soap and plenty of water.
Seek medical advice if redness, irritation, pain, or other symptoms persist.

Eye Contact:
Rinse cautiously with clean running water for at least 15 minutes.
Hold the eyelids open and remove contact lenses if present and easy to do.
Obtain medical attention if irritation, pain, redness, or visual disturbance continues.

Ingestion:
Rinse the mouth thoroughly with water.
Do not induce vomiting unless instructed by qualified medical personnel.
Contact a physician or poison center if a significant quantity has been swallowed or symptoms develop.

Note to Physicians:
Treat symptomatically and provide appropriate supportive care.
No universal specific antidote is normally available for this fatty acid dimethylamide mixture.

HANDLING AND STORAGE


Handling:
Use suitable chemical-resistant gloves, protective clothing, and safety goggles.
Avoid direct contact with the skin, eyes, and clothing.
Avoid breathing vapors, mists, and aerosols during transfer and processing.
Keep containers closed when the product is not in use.
Wash hands and exposed skin thoroughly after handling.

Ventilation:
Provide adequate general ventilation in storage and processing areas.
Use local exhaust ventilation where vapors, mists, or aerosols may be generated.
Maintain airborne exposure below applicable occupational limits.
Use suitable respiratory protection when engineering controls are insufficient.
Prevent accumulation of vapor or mist in confined spaces.

Storage:
Store Agnique AMD 810 in its tightly closed original container.
Keep the product in a cool, dry, and well-ventilated location.
Do not allow the storage temperature to exceed 40°C.
Protect the material from direct sunlight, moisture, contamination, and excessive heat.
Store away from strong oxidizing agents and incompatible reactive chemicals.

Spill and Leak Procedures:
Restrict access and ventilate the affected area.
Wear appropriate protective equipment before approaching the spill.
Contain the liquid with sand, earth, vermiculite, or another compatible non-combustible absorbent.
Collect the recovered material in a closed and correctly labeled container.
Prevent Agnique AMD 810 from entering drains, sewers, soil, groundwater, or natural waterways.

Handling Precautions:
Review the latest BASF safety data sheet before receiving, transferring, blending, or using Agnique AMD 810.
Ensure that eyewash stations and emergency washing facilities are readily accessible.
Use clean, dry, and chemically compatible pumps, hoses, tanks, and transfer equipment.
