DESCRIPTION

Agnique CSO-40 is an ethoxylated castor oil nonionic surfactant.
Agnique CSO-40 is produced by reacting castor oil with approximately 40 moles of ethylene oxide.
Agnique CSO-40 contains a distribution of polyoxyethylene-modified castor oil molecules.

Agnique CSO-40 is based on naturally derived castor oil.
Agnique CSO-40 contains triglyceride-derived hydrophobic groups and hydrophilic polyoxyethylene chains.
Agnique CSO-40 therefore has affinity for both organic and aqueous phases.

Agnique CSO-40 is a commercial reaction product rather than a single pure molecular compound.
Agnique CSO-40 does not have one exact molecular formula or molecular weight.
Agnique CSO-40 composition varies within controlled specifications because of natural feedstock and ethoxylate distribution.

Agnique CSO-40 is generally supplied as a liquid or flowable surfactant material.
Agnique CSO-40 may appear clear, slightly hazy, pale yellow, or yellow depending on temperature and specification.
Agnique CSO-40 physical appearance may change reversibly during cool storage.

Agnique CSO-40 is a high-active surfactant grade with little or no added aqueous carrier.
Agnique CSO-40 can therefore be incorporated efficiently into concentrated formulations.
Agnique CSO-40 active-content specifications should be confirmed from the current technical data sheet.

Agnique CSO-40 contains approximately 40 moles of ethylene oxide per mole of castor oil.
Agnique CSO-40 is more hydrophilic than lower-ethoxylated Agnique CSO grades.
Agnique CSO-40 is useful where high aqueous compatibility and oil-in-water emulsification are required.

Agnique CSO-40 provides one of the more hydrophilic profiles within the Agnique CSO series.
Agnique CSO-40 can be blended with lower-ethoxylated castor oil grades to adjust emulsifier balance.
Agnique CSO-40 blend ratios should be optimized for the selected oil, solvent, and active ingredient.

Agnique CSO-40 is valued as a versatile renewable-content nonionic emulsifier.
Agnique CSO-40 combines castor-oil functionality with highly hydrophilic polyoxyethylene chains.
Agnique CSO-40 should always be processed according to current BASF technical, regulatory, and safety documentation.
