DESCRIPTION

ARADUR 3243-1 is a modified cycloaliphatic polyamine mixture formulated as a reactive epoxy curing agent.
ARADUR 3243-1 belongs to the polyamine chemical family and is supplied as a liquid hardener.

ARADUR 3243-1 is not a single chemically pure molecule with one fixed molecular structure.
ARADUR 3243-1 therefore does not have one complete-substance molecular formula, molecular weight, CAS number, or EC number.

ARADUR 3243-1 normally appears as a clear, light-yellow liquid with a characteristic amine odor.
ARADUR 3243-1 has a low viscosity that supports weighing, pumping, blending, filler incorporation, and coating application.

ARADUR 3243-1 has a specified viscosity range of 220–360 mPa·s at 25°C.
ARADUR 3243-1 has a reported density of approximately 1.01 g/cm³ at 20°C.

ARADUR 3243-1 has an amine value of approximately 280–360 mg KOH/g.
ARADUR 3243-1 amine value provides a useful quality-control indicator but does not replace stoichiometric formulation calculations.

ARADUR 3243-1 contains reactive amine hydrogen groups capable of opening epoxy rings.
ARADUR 3243-1 curing gradually transforms the liquid resin-hardener mixture into an insoluble and infusible thermoset network.

ARADUR 3243-1 reaction speed is influenced by resin type, mixing ratio, temperature, batch mass, fillers, and additives.
ARADUR 3243-1 cures more rapidly as formulation temperature or mixed mass increases because epoxy-amine curing is exothermic.

ARADUR 3243-1 provides relatively long working time compared with many rapid-curing amine hardeners.
ARADUR 3243-1 supports processing operations that require sufficient time for mixing, spreading, leveling, aggregate addition, and finishing.

ARADUR 3243-1 develops good mechanical properties after complete reaction with a suitable epoxy resin.
ARADUR 3243-1 final hardness, strength, adhesion, and flexibility remain dependent on the complete resin and filler system.

ARADUR 3243-1 contributes broad chemical resistance in properly formulated and fully cured epoxy systems.
ARADUR 3243-1 chemical resistance must be established through immersion, spot, or service-simulation testing for the intended environment.

ARADUR 3243-1 supports smooth and glossy cured surfaces with relatively low water-spotting tendency.
ARADUR 3243-1 surface quality can still be impaired by moisture, condensation, low temperature, poor mixing, contamination, or incorrect stoichiometry.

ARADUR 3243-1 is formulated without nonylphenol.
ARADUR 3243-1 has a flash point of at least 110°C under the reported closed-cup test conditions.

ARADUR 3243-1 should be stored between 2°C and 40°C in a dry area protected from direct sunlight.
ARADUR 3243-1 has a documented shelf life of at least one year when stored under the stated conditions in sealed packaging.
