Obtain medical attention if redness, pain, burns, swelling, or sensitization symptoms develop.
Eye Contact:
Rinse cautiously with clean running water for at least 10–15 minutes.
Remove contact lenses if present and easy to do, then continue rinsing.
Obtain immediate medical attention because polyamine curing agents may cause serious eye injury.
Ingestion:
Rinse the mouth carefully with water.
Do not induce vomiting unless specifically instructed by qualified medical personnel.
Contact a poison center or physician immediately and provide the current safety data sheet.
Note to Physicians:
Treat according to the symptoms and clinical condition of the patient.
No universal specific antidote is available for a proprietary polyamine curing-agent mixture.
Consider the possibility of corrosive injury, respiratory irritation, aspiration risk, and delayed sensitization effects.
HANDLING AND STORAGE
Handling:
Use chemical-resistant gloves, protective clothing, and tightly fitting chemical safety goggles.
Use a face shield when splashing or pressurized transfer may occur.
Avoid all direct contact with the skin, eyes, and clothing.
Avoid breathing vapors, mists, and aerosols during mixing and application.
Do not eat, drink, or smoke in areas where ARADUR 53-1S is handled.
Ventilation:
Provide effective general ventilation in storage and processing areas.
Use local exhaust ventilation at mixing, filling, and application points.
Control airborne exposure according to applicable occupational exposure limits.
Use appropriate respiratory protection when ventilation cannot maintain safe exposure levels.
Prevent vapors and aerosols from accumulating in enclosed spaces.
Storage:
Store ARADUR 53-1S in a dry place in its tightly closed original container.
Maintain storage temperatures between 2°C and 40°C.
Protect ARADUR 53-1S from direct sunlight, moisture, atmospheric carbon dioxide, and contamination.
Store the product away from strong acids, strong oxidizing agents, and incompatible reactive chemicals.
Tightly reseal partly used containers immediately after dispensing.
Spill and Leak Procedures:
Evacuate unnecessary personnel and ventilate the affected area.
Wear suitable chemical-resistant protective equipment before approaching the spill.
Contain the liquid with sand, earth, vermiculite, or another compatible non-combustible absorbent.
Collect absorbed material in a closed and correctly labeled recovery or waste container.
Prevent ARADUR 53-1S from entering drains, sewers, soil, groundwater, and natural waterways.
Handling Precautions:
Review the latest regional safety data sheet before receiving, transferring, mixing, or applying ARADUR 53-1S.
Ensure that eyewash stations and emergency safety showers are immediately accessible.
Use dedicated, clean, dry, and chemically compatible transfer equipment.
Never return contaminated or mixed material to the original container.
Dispose of unused product, absorbents, cured residues, and packaging according to applicable regulations.
