ARADUR 835 is a solid aliphatic polyamine adduct developed as a highly reactive curing agent (hardener) and crosslinking agent for epoxy powder coating systems.
ARADUR 835 is primarily designed for fast-curing and low-temperature curing applications, making ARADUR 835 particularly suitable for powder coatings on heat-sensitive substrates such as wood, MDF, and certain plastics.
In addition to functioning as a primary hardener, ARADUR 835 can also be used as an accelerator in combination with dicyandiamide (DICY) or phenolic hardeners to increase curing speed and improve production efficiency.

ARADUR 835 is widely used in epoxy powder coatings, reactive coatings, and solvent-borne coating systems.
ARADUR 835 provides excellent mechanical strength, high chemical resistance, and outstanding corrosion protection, including superior salt spray resistance and cathodic disbonding performance.
These characteristics make ARADUR 835 particularly suitable for demanding industrial applications such as pipeline coatings, reinforcing steel (rebar) coatings, and other protective coating systems exposed to aggressive environments.

One of the major advantages of ARADUR 835 is its high reactivity, which enables shorter curing cycles and lower curing temperatures compared with conventional epoxy curing agents.
This allows manufacturers to reduce energy consumption while maintaining excellent coating performance.
The cured coatings exhibit good adhesion, high hardness, excellent flexibility, and durable impact resistance, making them suitable for both decorative and functional applications.

ARADUR 835 is commonly formulated with bisphenol-A epoxy resins or phenol-modified bisphenol-A epoxy resins, such as the Araldite GT series.
During production, the resin, hardener, pigments, and fillers are melt-mixed in an extruder before being processed into powder coatings.
The resulting powder can be applied by conventional electrostatic spraying or thermo-press processing depending on the application requirements.

Aradur 835 is a solid aliphatic polyamine adduct used as a hardener for fast curing or low-temperature curable powder surface technologies (wood).
