People prefer this resin because it offers excellent adhesion, color stability and good mechanical properties to the concrete and sandblasted steel.
Also, the offered resin is ideal for linings, two-component wood and concrete coatings.
Our resin has rapid curing, short pot life, 118 degrees centigrade flash point, 2900-3600 mPa s viscosity at 25 degrees C and organic & inorganic solvents resistivity.
By a team of experienced professionals, this ARADUR 837-1 is formulated using precise chemical composition.
ARADUR 837-1 is an aliphatic amine-based epoxy curing agent that functions both as a hardener and as a curing accelerator for polyamide-based epoxy systems.
ARADUR 837-1 is specifically designed to provide rapid curing while maintaining excellent processing characteristics and high-performance properties in two-component epoxy formulations.
The product offers excellent chemical resistance, making ARADUR 837-1 suitable for applications where coatings are exposed to water, oils, fuels, alkalis, and a wide range of industrial chemicals.
ARADUR 837-1 also provides strong adhesion to various substrates, including wood, concrete, and metal, while delivering high mechanical strength, good hardness, and long-term durability.
ARADUR 837 is widely used in the formulation of two-component epoxy coatings, protective linings, and industrial flooring systems.
ARADUR 837-1 is particularly suitable for wood coatings, concrete floor coatings, metal protective coatings, and maintenance coatings requiring fast curing and reliable chemical protection.
In addition, ARADUR 837-1 is commonly employed as an accelerator for polyamide curing agents, reducing curing time and improving productivity in industrial coating applications.
The curing agent is compatible with a wide range of liquid epoxy resins and contributes to the formation of coatings with excellent adhesion, good impact resistance, high abrasion resistance, and enhanced corrosion protection.
Its balanced reactivity provides an ideal combination of workable pot life and rapid property development after application.
Low-viscosity, low emission phenol-free fast hardener.
In combination with liquid epoxy resins (e.g. Araldite® GY 250, GY 253, GY 257, GY 260, GY 266 and PY 302-2) Aradur 837-1 can be used to formulate solvent-free heavy- duty anti corrosion coatings or flooring compounds.
Because of its high reactivity Aradur 837-1 may be used to accelerate polyamidoamine or cycloaliphatic polyamine hardeners.
STORAGE
ARADUR 837-1 Epoxy Curing Agent should be stored in a dry place, preferably in thesealed original container, at temperatures between 2 and 40℃.
ARADUR 837-1 should not be stored exposed to direct sunlight.
Stir before use.
PROPERTIES
ARADUR 837-1 Epoxy Curing Agent contains no organic solvents.
ARADUR 837-1 represents an optimum solution in terms of high solids content combined with minimum hardener requirement.
When ARADUR 837-1 Epoxy Curing Agent is diluted with water, turbidity may occur.
In pre-pigmented form, however, more stable hardener solutions can be produced.
In combination with suitable epoxy resins, relatively slow-drying films with good flow properties, good adhesion and a high gloss finish can be achieved.
With (proportional) use of solid resin dispersions such as Araldite PZ 3961-1 Epoxy Resin, drying times can be significantly shortened.
The pot life of dispersion coatings formulated with Aradur 38-1 Epoxy Curing Agent is typically limited to a maximum of 1 - 2 hours (loss of gloss finish).
A clear increase in viscosity occurs later especially in heavily diluted mixtures.
ARADUR 837-1 Epoxy Curing Agent being free of Nonylphenol was developed to succeed Aradur 38 Epoxy Curing Agent.
