Description:
Armeen O is a long chain primary alkyamine, that acts as an electron donor at elevated temperatures. 
Armeen O exhibits affinity to metals through NH2 functional groups.  
Armeen O acts as strong reducing agent as well as a stabilizer in the synthesis of nanoparticle.
Armeen O is distilled oleyl amine-based emulsifier and dispersing agent. 
Available as a light-yellow liquid (at 20°C), is suitable for inks, paints and coatings.
Armeen O is Anti-corrosion.
Armeen O is a surfactant which is soluble in common organic solvents such as acetone, carbon tetrachloride, chloroform, ethanol, isopropanol, kerosene, methanol, toluene and white mineral oil. 
Armeen O is insoluble in water [1.1] and irritates the skin. 
Armeen O has strong eye irritation, summer liquid state, winter solid.

Uses:    
Armeen O is a long-chain primary alkylamine broadly used in the synthesis of metallic nanostructures. 
A variety of metallic nanostructures including Au, Ag, Pt, Pd, and their alloy has been synthesized in the presence of Armeen O. 
Armeen O has several important functions in the synthesis of metallic nanostructure. 
Armeen O can simultaneously function as a solvent for the reaction mixture and stabilizing agent for metallic nanostructures. 
In addition, Armeen O has a boiling point of 364 °C; therefore, Armeen O can be used to synthesize metallic nanostructures at high temperatures.
Used in the chemical synthesis and capping of nanoparticles such as Fe3O4, poly (2-hydroxyethyl methacrylate)-graft-poly (ε-caprolactone), titania, mesoporous silica.
Armeen O is widely used as a surfactant and reaction medium for shape control, colloidal stabilization, and surface functionalization of a variety of nanomaterials, including magnetic , metal, chalcogenide, rare earth, and quantum dot nanomaterial systems.
Mainly used as emulsifier, dispersant, flotation agent, bactericide, mold release agent and softener. 
Armeen O can also be used in cosmetics, ceramics, dyes and pigments, lubricating cutting oils, metal processing, mineral processing, petroleum, plastics, inks, rubber, textiles, tanning, water treatment, etc. 
Armeen O plasticizer has good plasticizing properties and good compatibility, and can be used as a cold-resistant plasticizer.
