 ASCO AOS-1416(P) is the paste (concentrated liquid) form of sodium C14-16 alpha-olefin sulfonate, manufactured by the same sulfonation process as ASCO Powder. The "(P)" designation indicates the paste form, which is a concentrated aqueous solution of the surfactant. This form is easier to handle and incorporate into liquid formulations compared to the powder form.
