BARDAP 26

Bardap 26 is an active for biocidal products free of chloride quat and features broad spectrum activity against both gram positive and gram negative bacteria, superior fungicide and mildewcide, high tolerance to hard water, maintains efficacy in presence of heavy organic soiling such as blood and protein, good surfactant and wetting properties, and is low corrosive.

Bardap 26 is used as disinfectant and disinfectant cleaner H, I+I applications. Also in Water treatment (swimming pools, cooling towers etc) and Wood treatment.

5.2 FUNGI & YEAST
 The fungicidal activity of Bardap 26 is comparable to that of Bardac-22.
5.3 ALGAE
 The algaestatic and algaecidal activity of Bardap 26 is comparable to that of Bardac-22, i.e.
 Algaestatic concentration = 0.5 ppm, Algaecidal concentration = 1.0 ppm
5.4 VIRUS
The virucidal efficacy of Bardap 26 is comparable to that of Bardac-22.

8. Recommendations to formulate of Bardap 26
 Incompatible with anionic detergents.
 Synergistic effects in combination with aldehydes and complexing agents, e.g. EDTA.
 Product is free of chloride and hence practically not corrosive in presence of the common metals. 

Uses of Bardap 26
Bardap(R) 26 find uses as a disinfectant for instruments and as a wood preservative due to its low corrosion properties.
