SHELF LIFE:

Bayferrox 920 has an excellent shelf life.
We recommend that Bayferrox 920 is used within ten years of the date of manufacture and limit our product warranty to this period.

During the first ten years after the date of manufacture we are able to ensure compliance with this specification, provided the material has been stored as stated above and the packaging materials remain undamaged.
Bayferrox 920 must be taken into account that the packaging mean can have a shelf life considerably shorter than the one for this product.
All recommendations and warnings given on the packaging must strictly be adhered to.

Deviations from storage conditions can lead to undesired changes on side of the packaging materials.
These succumb to ageing which may also lead to compromising their capability.
Concerning their estimated service life we differentiate between the following packaging materials:

DEFINITION:

Bayferrox 920 is an iron oxide yellow pigment.
Bayferrox 920 is delivered in a granular form, which is nearly dustless and shows good free flowing properties.

Bayferrox 920 can be used in a wide range of applications and has a good price/performance ratio.
Bayferrox 920 properties of this delivery form were designed especially for coloring of concrete materials.
The production of Bayferrox 920 is based on the well known Bayferrox pigments which show high tinting strength, light fastness and excellent weather stability.

Bayferrox 920 is an iron oxide yellow pigment.
Bayferrox 920 has been specially developed for the coloration of impregnated and pressed laminate paper and fulfills the high quality requirements of the paper industry.

Bayferrox 920 is tested in laminate paper and packed in water recyclable bags.
The closed bags can be directly added to the pulper.

In this way, dust during the production process can be avoided. Pallets are marked with the quality label.
Bayferrox 920 is a yellow powder in the form of an alkaline oxide with comparatively stable chemical properties.

Bayferrox 920 is is insoluble in water and alcohol, slightly soluble in acids but completely dissolves in concentrated hydrochloric acid.
When heated to 80℃, Bayferrox 920 loses water and converts to red ferric oxide.

Bayferrox 920 is used in coating, printing ink and paint, and also as a coloring agent for building material, rubber and paper-making.
Bayferrox 920 is widely used due to its bright and pure colour, good weather proofing and high opacity.

Bayferrox 920 is manufactured by the precipitation of ferric oxide hydroxide followed by purification through washing, drying and milling.
Bayferrox 920 offers superior covering and dyeing power for synthetic and water-based paints, construction chemicals, plastic, rubber, and construction elements produced with cement.

Bayferrox 920 is produced in Bayferrox standards and with an innovative technology.
Bayferrox 920 is a micronized, yellow iron oxide pigment.

Bayferrox 920 is an inorganic pigment.
Bayferrox 920s low viscosity makes it especially suitable for highly concentrated paste systems.

Bayferrox 920 is used in automotive coating, coil coating, decorative paints, emulsion paints, industrial coating, plastic coating, powder coating, roof tile coating and wood coating.
Bayferrox 920 is an iron oxide pigment that is supplied as a powder and can be applied to color a wide variety of building materials.
