Compared with another type of silicon-containing defoamer, although C12-14 Alcohol Ethoxylates (3EO)'s defoaming performance is not high, its defoaming performance is quite excellent.
Wilfaret alcohol ethoxylates are non-ionic surfactants.
They generally take the form of a thick liquid.
They are mainly used in cleaning agents, detergents, home care and emulsifier production.
Chemicals such as alcohol ethoxylates, C12-14 Alcohol Ethoxylates (3EO) can also be manufactured from methyl esters.
Depending on the grade / type of fatty alcohols.

C12-14 Alcohol Ethoxylates (3EO) is a common knowledge to the science savvy what C12-14 alcohol ethoxylate are.
C12-14 Alcohol Ethoxylates (3EO) are the largest family and the most dominant class of nonionic surfactants.
Nonionic surfactants are surfactants molecules which do not go through ionization when dissolved in water.
On the other hand, surfactants are materials or substances which reduces the surface tension between components, used mostly in detergents.
C12-14 Alcohol Ethoxylates (3EO) is best described using these terms: hydrophilic, lipophilic groups and cloud point temperature.
C12-14 Alcohol Ethoxylates (3EO), fatty acid alkoxylate and alkyl phenol ethoxylate are some instances of this surfactants.

C12-14 Alcohol Ethoxylates (3EO) or ethoxylation is a chemical reaction which occurs when ethylene oxide combines with a substrate.
C12-14 Alcohol Ethoxylates (3EO) is a chemical compound synthesized through the reaction of ethylene oxide with fatty alcohol which results in a single molecule consisting of:
· Fatty alcohol rich in carbon
· Hydrophilic or ethoxylate chain.
They are also a part of the alcohol alkoxylates alongside butoxylates and alcohol propoxylates.
C12-14 Alcohol Ethoxylates (3EO)'s chemical structure is given as follow R(OCH2CH2)nOH.
The "n" which is the subscript in this structure indicates the average number of what the ethylene oxide unit should be.

These are even-numbered ethoxylated alcohol.
C12-14 Alcohol Ethoxylates (3EO) are liquid, colorless, oleo-chemical non-ionic surfactant with three units of ethylene oxide produced through the reaction of ethylene oxide with c12-c14 fatty alcohol.
This chemical compound is a synthetic mixture of C12-C14 alcohol and ethylene oxide of an average of 1-50 moles.
C12-14 Alcohol Ethoxylates (3EO) is worth noting that the "C" in C12-14 means the range of the carbon chain units, which in this case is 12-14.

C12-14 Alcohol Ethoxylates (3EO) is primarily produced through the synthesis between or reaction of ethylene oxide alongside fatty alcohol in the presence of acidic catalyst like zinc chloride, alkali catalyst like potassium hydroxide, or other catalysts.
Other types of catalysts that can be involved in this ethoxylation reaction include: sodium hydroxide, sodium laurate, Magnesium perchlorate, Tin tetrachloride and phosphotungstic acid.
