Ceraphyl 41 ester is a well-established emollient that can provide a variety of benefits to sunscreens, lip balms, colored cosmetics, creams and lotions, and other personal care products. Used to reduce the stickiness and fatty nature of components such as petroleum jelly, this ester gives non-greasy lubricating power to hydro-alcoholic products. CERAPHYL 41 is easy to emulsify and is compatible with many systems. Ceraphyl 41 ester can be used to enhance many types of personal care products, but CERAPHYL 41 is best used in neutral pH formulations.

Used in antiperspirants and deodorants, decorative cosmetics, facials, shampoos, skin care (rinse), sun care and body care products. Ceraphyl 41 ester offers characteristics such as reduced adhesion and grease, non-greasy lubricity and foaming creams.

Ceraphyl 41 is easy to emulsify and can also be used as a thickening and foaming agent in shampoos and body washes. When used in sunscreen, Ceraphyl 41 helps solubilize benzophenone-3 and avobenzone, two frequently used chemical UV absorbers. Ceraphyl 41 is found in personal care products such as self-tanner, facial moisturizer, aftershave, perfume, acne treatment, sunscreen, bubble bath, and cleanser. .
