Compoline SEBS-MA01 is a styrene-ethylene-butylene-styrene (SEBS) block copolymer that has been modified with maleic anhydride (MA).
Compoline SEBS-MA01 is supplied by Auserpolimeri (Brüggemann) and is intended for use as a compatibilizer / impact modifier in polymer blends.
Compoline SEBS-MA01's design helps improve adhesion between SEBS and more polar polymers such as polyamides (PA‑6, PA‑66) and polyesters (PET, PBT, PLA).

From a safety perspective, Compoline SEBS-MA01 is considered low-hazard.
Compoline SEBS-MA01 is non-toxic under normal handling.
Compoline SEBS-MA01 is thermally stable under typical processing temperatures, but overheating should be avoided to prevent degradation and release of fumes.

Compoline SEBS-MA01 is a maleic-anhydride-grafted SEBS (styrene-ethylene-butylene-styrene) block copolymer designed primarily as a compatibilizer, impact modifier, and elastomeric modifier in polymer blends and alloy systems.

The base SEBS structure, Compoline SEBS-MA01 provides excellent rubbery elasticity, chemical resistance, and thermal stability, while the maleic anhydride grafting introduces polar functional groups, enhancing adhesion between SEBS and polar polymers such as polyamides (PA6, PA66), polyesters (PET, PBT), and polylactic acid (PLA).

Physically, Compoline SEBS-MA01 is supplied in pellet form, which ensures uniform feeding and mixing in extrusion or injection processes.
Compoline SEBS-MA01 has a density of approximately 0.918 g/cm³ and a melt flow rate (MFR) of 20 g/10 min at 230 °C under 5 kg load, indicating moderate flowability suitable for a wide range of processing conditions.

Recommended dosage level of Compoline SEBS-MA01 is 3-10%.
The shelf life of Compoline SEBS-MA01 is 2 years.

USES and APPLICATIONS of COMPOLINE SEBS-MA01:
Compoline SEBS-MA01 is also used in over-moulding of TPE-S compounds and in alloying to achieve high impact strength in composite materials.
The maleic anhydride modification of Compoline SEBS-MA01 gives polar functionality, which enhances compatibility with polar polymers.
Compoline SEBS-MA01 acts as a reactive modifier: during melt blending it can form interactions (or possibly bonds) with polar resins, which improves adhesion, impact strength, and toughness in blends / alloys.

Because it is a block copolymer (SEBS), Compoline SEBS-MA01 retains good elastomeric behavior (soft, rubbery) inherited from SEBS base, but the MA grafting makes its behavior more polar.
Compoline SEBS-MA01 is used in polyamide (PA‑6, PA‑66) compounds to improve impact strength and processability.

In polyester (PET, PBT, PLA) blends, Compoline SEBS-MA01 is used to improve toughness and compatibility.
Over‑molding applications, especially where Compoline SEBS-MA01 is molded onto rigid substrates like ABS, PC, or other plastics.
Particularly useful in the automotive sector, due to Compoline SEBS-MA01's impact-modifying ability in engineering polymer blends.
