CRYSTASENCE IM700

Crystasense IM700 is a novel oil and fragrance gellant designed to create eye-catching air freshener gels for room and automative use. 
Crystasense IM700 can be use for oil loading of up to 70% and will release fragrance in a steady, predictable manner while maintaining fragrance integrity. 
Crystasense IM700 sets quickly, so it should be used together with Crystasense IM700 in varying ratios, in conjunction with an isocyanurate curing agent, to control the desired set time of formulations.

Crystasense IM700 exhibit steady release of volatile components and are therefore an ideal solution for fragrance formulations. 
Gels formulated with the Crystasense IM series provide long-lasting steady fragrance, ensuring that the product smells the same over its lifetime.

The fragrance release of two gels made with the Crystasense IM series was measured over a 28-day period. 
The results of the testing show that the fragrance release of the two products is linear and predictable, but will vary depending on the fragrance used.

Crystasense IM700 transform functional oils into transparent, solid gels with the option of embedding glitter or other articles for further sensory appeal.

Crystasense IM700 is a class of polyolefin compounds with a soft polyether backbone, capped by primary or secondary amine groups. 
Because the main chain of the molecule is a soft polyether chain, and the hydrogen on the terminal of polyether amine is more active than the hydrogen on the terminal hydroxyl group of polyether, therefore, polyether amine can be a good substitute for polyether in some material processes, and can improve the application performance of new materials. 
They are widely used in polyurethane reactive injection molding materials, polyurea spraying, epoxy resin curing agents and gasoline scavengers.

Other release to the environment of Crystasense IM700 is likely to occur from: indoor use (e.g. machine wash liquids/detergents, automotive care products, paints and coating or adhesives, fragrances and air fresheners) and outdoor use resulting in inclusion into or onto a materials (e.g. binding agent in paints and coatings or adhesives).

Crystasense IM700 cured product has good alkali resistance and water resistance, moderate acid resistance. 

Epoxy resins cured with Crystasense IM700s have good electrical properties.

Compared with other amine curing agents, Crystasense IM700 has low viscosity, light color, good compatibility with many organic compounds, moderate reactivity, and can meet the special requirements.

Preparation    
synthesis of Crystasense IM700: Firstly, the polyether is attached to the acetoacetate group at both ends by dienone or through the ester exchange reaction of ethyl acetoacetate with polyether polyol, and then the polyether capped by the acetoacetate group is aminated with a mono-primary amine, alkyl alcohol amine or dibasic primary amine to obtain an imine compound with a low viscosity with an aminobutyrate end group.
