Curox M-102 is a hardener and initiator for curing of unsaturated polyester resins.
Curox M-102 has an aliphatic ester as a de-sensitizing agent and the lowest H2O2 content.
Curox M-102 is recommended for curing of molded parts, hand lamination, spray lay-up, centrifugal casting, filament winding, and casting of resins.


Curox M-102 has a shelf life of 6 months.

CURING PERFORMANCE of CUROX M-102: 
Moderate heat release and therefore low internal stress.
Recommended for vinyl ester (VE) resins.
Relatively short demolding time, i.e. good demolding factor (fMR = tMR/tgel).
Temperatures below 20°C and/or some specific resin types can significantly retard curing, and more reactive grades of unsaturated polyester resins (CUROX M-202, 302, 402) are recommended; for VE resins, add an amine catalyst.


PROCESSING METHODS of CUROX M-102:
Particularly suitable for hand-covering, spray-covering, centrifugal casting, fiber winding, resin casting as well as surface coatings (fillers, fillers, gelatin coatings and topcoats).

Spraying equipment:
Use spray equipment using manufacturer's instructions.
Make sure all safety devices are working properly.
Do not clean the gun by spraying MEKP into the air.

Measurement of activity:
The "cobalt cure" test was performed at 25°C using OPA resin (20g in a test tube).
