CYCLOPENTANE (also called C pentane) is a highly flammable alicyclic hydrocarbon consisting of a ring of five carbon atoms each bonded with two hydrogen atoms above and below the plane.
CYCLOPENTANE occurs as a colorless liquid with a petrol-like odor.
CYCLOPENTANE's melting point is −94 °C and its boiling point is 49 °C.

CYCLOPENTANE is in the class of cycloalkanes, being alkanes that have one or more rings of carbon atoms.
CYCLOPENTANE is formed by cracking cyclohexane in the presence of alumina at a high temperature and pressure.

CYCLOPENTANE can be formulated via a process known as catalytic reforming.
CYCLOPENTANE has also be fluorinated into compounds such as heptafluorocyclopentane and octafluorocyclopentane, which are in industrial use.

CYCLOPENTANE is not planar in its normal conformations.
CYCLOPENTANE puckers in order to increase the distances between the hydrogen atoms

CYCLOPENTANE is formed from pentane and is an alicyclic hydrocarbon compound that falls in the category of an alkane.
CYCLOPENTANE consists of five carbon atoms linked together with a single bond in between, with the chemical formula C5H10.
CYCLOPENTANE are in the class of cycloalkanes, which are used to manufacture synthetic rubber, resins, rubber adhesives

CYCLOPENTANE is also used as a blowing agent for polyurethane insulating foam.
CYCLOPENTANE have the properties of pentanes and are very similar to hexanes and butanes

Consequently CYCLOPENTANE is used as components for some types of fuels and as a solvent.
CYCLOPENTANE's are also used to manufacture pesticides

CYCLOPENTANE is a widely used component in preparing products like analgesics, insecticides, sedatives, antitumor agents

CYCLOPENTANE is highly evaporative gas that is used to apply the foam insulations in refrigeration units.

CYCLOPENTANE is a member of cycloalkanes and of volatile organic compounds.
CYCLOPENTANE plays a crucial role, as it remains partly in the cells of the Polyurethane (PU) foam as a cell gas after foaming.
In this way, CYCLOPENTANE can achieve a maximum insulating effect in a small space.

CYCLOPENTANE is well-suited for refrigerators that require thin insulation with high insulation performance at the same time.
High-performance CYCLOPENTANE meets these special requirements.

CYCLOPENTANE will burn in a combustion reaction, suitably in the presence of Oxygen, whether complete or incomplete.
Since CYCLOPENTANE is a very volatile compound, CYCLOPENTANE should be stored where it cannot be exposed to any heat source.

CYCLOPENTAN is incompatible with strong oxidizing agents such as chlorine, bromine, fluorine.
CYCLOPENTANE reacts with halogens in ultraviolet light to form halo-substituted cycloalkanes.

A CYCLOPENTANE ring can exist in a planar conformation with little angle strain.
CYCLOPENTANE in planar conformation has no angle strain, but suffers from the eclipsing strain.

Alkylated CYCLOPENTANE (MAC) lubricants have low volatility and are used in some specialty applications
CYCLOPENTANE occurs as a colorless liquid with a petrol-like odor.

Meanwhile, in the absence of oxygen, CYCLOPENTANE will undergo a pyrolysis reaction that decomposes into smaller and unsaturated molecules.
On the other hand, CYCLOPENTANE can react with bromine under ultraviolet radiation.

CYCLOPENTANE provides energy efficiency improvements and cost savings for consumers.

CYCLOPENTANE is used in place of chlorofluorocarbon (CFCS), as a new type of foaming agent for rigid polyurethane foam.
CYCLOPENTANE does not contain hydro-fluorocarbons (HFCs).
CYCLOPENTANE is stable when properly stored.

CYCLOPENTANE is considered more harmless than other industrial products used for the same purpose.
CYCLOPENTANE has a Colorless liquid form.

CYCLOPENTANE is also frequently used in pipeline insulation.
Because CYCLOPENTANE is the most preferred product for insulation.
