DABCO DMDEE, Dimorpholinodiethylether is a polyurethane catalyst.

DABCO DMDEE is an amine blowing catalyst particularly suitable for one- and two-component rigid foam sealant systems as well as flexible slabstock foams.
DABCO DMDEE provides system tability in moisture cured polyurethane
DABCO DMDEE can be used in one- and two-component sealant foams as well as flexible slabstock foams.

DABCO DMDEE is a weak catalyst for polyurethane formulations.
Due to the specific structure DABCO DMDEE is a very selective catalyst.

As the nitrogen is stericallyhindered by the morpholine ring the reaction of polyol with isocyanate as well as other sidereactions are hardly activated.
On the other hand the nitrogen-ethylether structural unit highlyactivates the water/isocyanate reaction.

Based on this selectivity DABCO DMDEE is the first choice for moisture cured one-component formulations.
Even when used in relatively high amounts DABCO DMDEE does not affect the shelf life time of the final product in respect to viscosity increase or curing rate.

DABCO DMDEE is recommended to use DABCO DMDEE for moisture cured adhesive, sealants aswell as for foams.
Additionally, DABCO DMDEE can be used as a weak, but veryselective catalyst for two component polyurethane foams.

Applications of DABCO DMDEE:
For many years DABCO DMDEE has been known in the polyurethane foaming industry as a well approved catalyst, specially supporting the water / isocyanate reaction.
DABCO DMDEE is mainly used in the production of foams, e.g. polyester polyurethane foams or one component foams where on one hand the so-called "gas reaction" is promoted, but on the other hand the influence on the so-called "cross-linking reaction" is minor.
Due to the almost not existing gelling / cross-linking activity, DABCO DMDEE provides a very long shelf life when used in prepolymers.

DABCO DMDEE is suitable for water curing systems, A strong blowing catalyst, due to the steric hindrance of amino groups, can extend the storage period of NCO components, suitable for the catalytic reaction of NCO and water in systems such as TDI, MDI, and IPDI; 2,2-DABCO DMDEE is mainly used in one-component rigid polyurethane foam systems, and can also be used in polyether and polyester polyurethane soft foams, semi-rigid foams, CASE materials, etc.
DABCO DMDEE accounts for 0.3-0.55% of the polyether/ester component.

DABCO DMDEE is an amine catalyst suitable for curing systems.
DABCO DMDEE is a strong blowing catalyst.

Due to the steric hindrance of the amino group, the NCO-containing components have a long storage period.
DABCO DMDEE is mainly used in one-component rigid polyurethane foam system, and also used in polyether and polyester polyurethane soft foam, semi-rigid foam, CASE material, etc.

DABCO DMDEE is a specialty amine catalyst used in the production of flexible foam, high-resilient (HR) molded foam, and in coatings and adhesives
DABCO DMDEE catalyst is a high boilng catalyst for use in flexible polyester-based foams, semiflexible foams and HR moulded foams.

DABCO DMDEE catalyst can be used in one component moisture- cured system to provide a stable prepolymer that can undergo rapid cure.
DABCO DMDEE is also used as a catalyst in polyurethane insulating foams released under pressure or from pressurized cans, in hot melt urethane adhesives, in the formation of flexible orthopedic casts, and in warm melt adhesives used in book binding applications.

Uses of DABCO DMDEE:
DABCO DMDEE is widely used in one component moisture cured systems.
DABCO DMDEE catalyzes the water-isocyanate reaction of the prepolymers upon exposure to water, e.g., moisture in the air or added water.

However, to provide adequate shelf life, the catalyst must provide good isocyanate stability to avoid side reactions which gel and harden the prepolymer prematurely.
These side reactions are generally branching reactions resulting in biuret and allophanate formation and some formation of isocyanate trimer.

DABCO DMDEE is excellent for one-component systems.
DABCO DMDEE is used in adhesives.

DABCO DMDEE can also be used in flexible polyester-based urethane foams, as well as semiflexible foams and HR molded foams.
DABCO DMDEE is used in rigid foam sealant systems as well as for flexible slabstock foams.

DABCO DMDEE is used in one component moisture cured applications in CASE.
DABCO DMDEE is a highly selective blowing catalyst and mainly used in one component applications, like 1-K Spray foam or 1-K Adhesives.
Due to the specific structure the nitrogen is sterically hindered by the morpholine ring the reaction of polyol with isocyanate as well as other side reactions are hardly activated.

Recommended Dosage of DABCO DMDEE:
The dosage has to be adjusted to the formulation to reachthe required reaction profile.
Usually dosage levels of DABCO DMDEE are in the range of 0,5 to 2,5 php (parts on100 parts polyol).

Instructions for Storage of DABCO DMDEE:
The solidification point of DABCO DMDEE is below -20 °C, i. e. storage temperatures fluctuating around 0 °C do not cause any deterioration of the material.
Nevertheless DABCO DMDEE is recommended to bring the material to room temperature before the material is used.

For DABCO DMDEE we guarantee a shelf life of at least 12 months upon delivery under the condition, that DABCO DMDEE is stored in factory-packed containers and protected against extreme weather conditions, particularly against heat and moisture.
After a prolonged storage of DABCO DMDEE the color of DABCO DMDEE may change to slightly yellow or brownish, however, the catalytic activity remains unchanged.

Handling and Storage of DABCO DMDEE:
