DEHYLUB 4039 Di(2-Ethylhexyl) Azelate  is soluble in organic solvents such as benzene, acetone, and ether.
Bis(2-ethylhexyl) Azelate, 75% is used as an optical sensor in the presence of chloride ions.
DEHYLUB 4039 Di(2-Ethylhexyl) Azelate  can be used to determine the molecular weight of polyvinyl chloride (PVC).
Bis(2-ethylhexyl) Azelate, 75% also has applications in kinetic studies because it reacts with oleic acid to form dibutyl oleate.

DEHYLUB 4039 Di(2-Ethylhexyl) Azelate  is a plasticizer for cellulosics, polystyrene, and vinyl plastics, including use as a low-temperature plasticizer (HSDB 2002).
DEHYLUB 4039 Di(2-Ethylhexyl) Azelate is produced from azelaic acid and 2-ethylhexanol as starting materials.
DEHYLUB 4039 Di(2-Ethylhexyl) Azelate production is carried out in a closed and batch system.
Initial product mixtures are subject to distillation under reduced pressure in order to purify DEHYLUB 4039 Di(2-Ethylhexyl) Azelate.

DEHYLUB 4039 Di(2-Ethylhexyl) Azelate is an excellent cold-resistant plasticizer.
DEHYLUB 4039 Di(2-Ethylhexyl) Azelate has good compatibility with polyvinyl chloride, vinyl chloride-vinyl acetate copolymer, polystyrene, polyvinyl acetate, cellulose acetate butyrate, cellulose nitrate, ethyl cellulose, etc.
DEHYLUB 4039 Di(2-Ethylhexyl) Azelate has low viscosity, high boiling point, high plasticizing efficiency, low volatility and mobility, and excellent heat resistance, light resistance, electrical insulation and viscosity stability to plasticizing paste, and cold resistance is better than DOA.

Suitable for artificial leather, film, thin plate, wire and cable sheath, plastic paste, etc., can give products good low temperature performance.
The product can also be used alone or in combination with other plasticizers as a plasticizer for synthetic rubber such as nitrile rubber, Styrene Butadiene Rubber and chloroprene rubber.

Stable heavy isotopes of hydrogen, carbon, and other elements have been incorporated into drug molecules, largely as tracers for quantitation during the drug development process.
Deuteration has gained attention because of its potential to affect the pharmacokinetic and metabolic profiles of drugs.
