Dequest 2016 is the sodium salt of Dequest 2010, is an good scale inhibitor for calcium carbonate, it can be used in low pressure boiler water system, circulating water system, industrial and municipal cleaning water system and swimming pool.
Dequest 2016 is white powder, soluble in water, easily deliquescence, suitable for use in winter and freezing districts. 
Dequest 2016 is a kind of organophorphonic acid scale and corrosion inhibitor, can form stable complex with Fe, Cu and Zn ions, it can dissolve the oxides on metal surface, it has good scale and corrosion inhibition effect under 250C.

Dequest 2016 is widely used in circulating cool water system, medium and low pressure boiler, oil field water pipelines as scale and corrosion inhibitor in fields such as electric power, chemical industry, metallurgy, fertilizer.
In light woven industry, Dequest 2016 is used as detergent for metal and nonmetal. 
In dyeing industry, Dequest 2016 is used as peroxide stabilizer and dye-fixing agent; In non-cyanide electroplating, Dequest 2016 is used as chelating agent.

APPLICATIONS of Dequest 2016: 
Dequest 2016 is mainly used as a Scale & Corrosion Inhibitor, chelating (Sequestrating), deflocculating agent in Cooling and Boiler water treatment, Textile Dying, Detergents etc.

Dequest 2016 is an aqueous solution of the sodium salt of the chelating acid HEDP which softens water.
Dequest 2016 suppresses the precipitation of Calcium Carbonate, Calcium Sulphate and other scalants.
Dequest 2016 inhibits corrosion by film forming at metal surfaces. 
Dequest 2016 is active in the pH 1-13 range and has high temperature stability upto about 130 – 140 0C.
Dequest 2016 has soil dispersing and deflocculation abilities and anti-redeposition properties.

Dequest 2016 is widely used in circulating cool water system, medium and low pressure boiler, oil field water pipelines as scale and corrosion inhibitor in fields such as electric power, chemical industry, metallurgy, fertilizer, etc.

First aid measures of Dequest 2016 

Eye contact : 
Immediately flush eyes with plenty of water, occasionally lifting the upper and lower eyelids. 
Check for and remove any contact lenses. 
Get medical attention if irritation occurs.

Inhalation : 
Remove victim to fresh air and keep at rest in a position comfortable for breathing. 
Get medical attention if symptoms occur.

Skin contact : 
Flush contaminated skin with plenty of water. 
Remove contaminated clothing and shoes. 
Get medical attention if symptoms occur.

Ingestion : 
Wash out mouth with water. 
Remove victim to fresh air and keep at rest in a position comfortable for breathing. 
If material has been swallowed and the exposed person is conscious, give small quantities of water to drink. 
Do not induce vomiting unless directed to do so by medical personnel. 
Get medical attention if symptoms occur.
