Disflamoll DPO is 2-ethylhexyl diphenyl phosphate (DPO). 
Disflamoll DPO acts as a low viscosity phosphate ester plasticizer with good gelling behaviour for flexible PVC. 

Disflamoll DPO acts also as a flame retardant in TPU, NBR and cellulose acetate.

Applications of Disflamoll DPO:
Disflamoll DPO is a low viscosity phosphate plasticizer with the following benefit in flexible PVC: highly efficient as plasticizer, fast fusing, low viscosity in plastisols, good low temperature properties and lighfast. 
Flexible PVC and PVC-containing compounds such as PVC/NBR based on Disflamoll DPO show a significant lower smoke density than compounds based on common plasticizers or triaryl phosphates.

Disflamoll DPO can be used also for TPU, synthetic rubbers such as NBR, CR, EPDM and cellulose esters like CA, CAB and CN.
Disflamoll DPO can be recommended in certain food contact applications.

Storage conditions of Disflamoll DPO:

Disflamoll DPO (2-Ethylhexyl diphenyl phosphate, Octicizer) is an organophosphate compound.
Disflamoll DPO acts as both a plasticizer and flame retardant in PVC, its wide liquid range also makes it suitable as a flame retardant in hydraulic fluids. 
Disflamoll DPO has low acute toxicity in feeding experiments, but has been implicated as a potential hormone mimetic.
