Dispex Ultra FA 4430 is a defoamer, and it is non-toxic, odorless, non-irritating, and has a hard water and acid and alkali resistance, and a excellent compatibility.
Also Dispex Ultra FA 4430's antifoaming performance is quite good .
Preparation
Put catalyst KOH 1 g and initiator decanediol 24.8g into a reaction kettle, heat to 85 ℃ at room temperature, then vacuum and fill nitrogen for 2-3 times to remove oxygen and water in the reaction kettle, and then heat up to 120-130 ℃, the reaction monomers ethylene oxide (EO), propylene oxide (PO) or their mixtures are added according to the structure of the product.
After the reaction is completed, Dispex Ultra FA 4430 is neutralized and filtered with 98% concentrated H2SO4 to obtain lauryl alcohol polyether.
