Dusantox 86 is unrefined dicumyldiphenylamine. Used as antidegradant for universal application especially for rubber goods based on CR as well as on NR, IR, BR, SBR, NBR, EPDM and their combinations. 
Dusantox 86 protects effectively and for a long time against influences of oxygen, heat and dynamic fatigue action. Dusantox® 86 provides good protection against rubber poisons. 
Dusantox 86 does not bloom even at high dosage. 
Dusantox 86 does not infuence the basic physico-mechanical properties of vulcanizates. Antidegradation effectiveness can be significantly increased by combination with imidazoles, phenols or phosphites (heat and thermooxidative resistance) or p-phenylenediamines (ozone resistance). 
Dusantox 86 is also applicable as stabilizer for plastics, lubricants, oils and other substrates.

Dusantox 86 is Simple, almost non-staining antidegradant with antioxidant properties suitable for all types of rubber products.

Technical blend of mono- and dialpha- methylstyrenated diphenylamine and serves as universal replacement for phenyl- beta-naphthylamine. The technology is based on the catalytic alkylation of diphenylamine by alpha- methylstyrene, purification  and finalization into form of pastilles.

Dusantox 86 is a kind of high-efficient nontoxic Antioxidant to replace D, A, RD and so on which are carcinogenic. 
Dusantox 86 can be used in NR, IIR, SBR, NBR, BR, CR and their blend, and is especially efficient in protecting CR from thermal aging. 
Dusantox 86 can also be used in plastic industry. 
Dusantox 86 not only can protect vulcanized rubber from thermal aging, light aging, ozone aging and damage caused by repeating deformation, but also has a passivating effect on heavy metal and transition metal. 

Uses
Because of its light contamination, Dusantox 86 can be used in insulative and protective rubber sheeting for color wires and cables as well as common color rubber products in place of Antioxidant 264, SP, 2264, MB, DNP, etc, to greatly reduce the production cost. In carbon black rubber, it has oxidation resistance of amine type, and will not pollute products. 
Dusantox 86 can be exclusively used or used together with other Antioxidant . Normal dosage in rubber is 2-3 phr.

Application
Dusantox 86 is a highly effective non-discoloring aromatic amine type antioxidant finding utility as a thermal stabilizer in a wide variety of applications, including polyolefins, styrenics, polyols, hot melt adhesives, lubricants and polyamides. Excellent performance at processing temperatures, and strong synergy with other types of antioxidants such as phenolics and phosphites, makes CAPOX 445 an excellent choice as a component of your thermal stabilizer package.

In polyether this product can be used as light-resistant and anti-aging antioxidant, also as antioxidant for lubricating oil.
Dusantox 86 is especially effective to be used in neoprene acrylate rubber, polyether polyalcohol for its resistance to aging caused by high temperature and light. When used together with sulfur-contained antioxidant, it has operational effect.

Dusantox 86 is a non-colouring aromatic amine that works synergistically with phosphites and phenolic anti-oxidants as a thermal stabiliser in the plastics industry. Furthermore the combination of high amine antioxidant activity, good colour and low volatility makes it an ideal antioxidant and heat stabilizer for rubber and plastics.

Dusantox 86 is one of the few non-toxic, odorless, light-colored antioxidants among the amine antioxidants.

Application

I. Dusantox 86 is a highly effective non-fading amine antioxidant. Among the amine antioxidants, it is less polluting. 
Dusantox 86 has the advantages of high amine antioxidant activity and beautiful color. 
Dusantox 86 is only used for high-efficiency light color. Non-toxic and tasteless, it is an ideal antioxidant and heat stabilizer for rubber and plastics.

II. Due to the special structure of the product, it will not change color during heat aging. 
Dusantox 86 is effective in preventing discoloration caused by ultraviolet rays.

III. Dusantox 86 is used to protect natural rubber and synthetic rubber such as chloroprene, styrene-butadiene, isoamyl, butyl, etc., due to aging caused by heat, light, ozone, etc., and has a good synergistic effect with sulfur-containing antioxidants.

IV. Dusantox 86 can improve the heat-resistant oxygen, ozone and flexural properties of the product, especially suitable for EPDM, NBR, HNBR, AEM, ACM and other high thermal requirements.

V. Dusantox 86 can be used as heat-resistant stabilizer in many fields, such as polyolefin, styrene, polyhydroxy compound, hot melt adhesive, lubricant, polyamide. 
Dusantox 86 performs well at processing temperature, and it is more effective when used in conjunction with other antioxidants (such as phosphites and phenols).

VI. Widely used in seals, rubber rollers, tapes, hoses, tires, soles, sealing strips, balls, cables.
