Milliken Reactint reactive dyes are reactive polymer dyes for the production of flexible polyurethane foam in which chromophore groups are chemically bonded to polyether polyols. This type of colorant is innovative for the production of soft foams and actually reacts with the foam components by binding in a polyurethane polymer matrix. Unlike pigment pastes, which are dispersions of solid particles in a liquid carrier, Reactint colorants are 100% homogeneous liquids that are soluble in the polyol and will not settle over time, maintaining the quality of the finished product.
