DESCRIPTION OF EMULPHOR OPS 25:
Emulphor OPS 25 is a high molecular weight ether sulfate.
Emulphor OPS 25 acts as an ionic emulsifier.
Emulphor OPS 25 can be combined with nonionic Emulan grades to achieve desired properties such as particle size or emulsion stability.
Emulphor OPS 25 is used in emulsion polymerization of acrylate and methacrylate esters, styrene and vinyl esters.
Emulphor OPS 25 is suitable for both homopolymerization and copolymerization of these monomers.
Emulphor OPS 25 is high molar mass ether sulfates mainly used in the emulsion polymerization of acrylic acid esters, methacrylic acid esters, ethylene, styrene and vinyl esters.
Emulphor OPS 25 can be used to produce homopolymers and copolymers.
These anionic emulsifiers can also be combined with non-ionic grades of Emulsifiers to control properties such as particle size of emulsions or to increase their stability.
Emulphor OPS 25 is ether sulfate without alkylphenol ethoxylate.
Soluble in both solvents and water, Emulphor OPS 25 is used for the manufacturing of various products like fabric softener, inks, shampoos, hair conditioners, snowboard wax, etc.

On account of its chemical composition, Emulphor OPS 25 combines the advantages of non-ionic and anionic emulsifiers, and can therefore be used as the sole emulsifier for emulsion polymerization.
Emulphor OPS 25 is recommended to store Emulphor OPS 25at room temperature and to protect it from heat and frost.
Emulphor OPS 25 produces stable, low foaming emulsions of organic solvents, hydrocarbons, oils and waxes in water.

Special emulsifier for the manufacture of Emulphor OPS 25, especially for vinylacetate or acrylic homopolymers and copolymers.
On account of its chemical composition, Emulphor OPS 25 combines the advantages of non-ionic and anionic emulsifiers, and can therefore be used as the sole emulsifier for emulsion polymerization.

When Emulphor OPS 25 has cooled down to less than 5°C, please heat it up to 25°C – 30°C, after stirring it is ready to use again.
