Emulsogen EL 360  is a nonionic component which, when used in combination with anionic components such as Phenylsulfonat CA/CAL is particularly suitable for emulsifying biocides.
Emulsogen EL products are standard NPE-free emulsifiers in various EC formulations. 
Emulsogen EL 360s show excellent emulsification characteristics for many solvents and are not eye-irritating.

Applications of Emulsogen EL 360
Emulsifier combinations of nonionic and anionic surfactants are used successfully for making up a number of biocides in the form of self-emulsifying, liquid concentrates. 
Combinations are more adaptable than individual emulsifiers and therefore ultimately also more economical.
Emulsogen EL 360  is a nonionic component which, when used in combination with anionic components such as Phenylsulfonat CA, CAL, is particularly suitable for emulsifying biocides.

Emulsogen EL 360 Biology
Emulsogen EP 360 is based on castor oil, a non-edible bio-based raw material. 
The product is readily biodegradable and free of addition preservatives.
   
 
Emulsogen EL 360 Application and Characteristics
Emulsogen EL 360 shows excellent emulsification characteristics for many so ents typically used in agrochemical formulations. 
Besides that, it is an environmentally friendly and not eye-irritating product.

Emulsogen EL 360 could be used to achieve the following crop protection formulation types: 
Emulsifiable Concentrate [EC], Emulsion in Water [EW], Suspension Concentrate [SC], Suspoemulsion [SE] and Oil Dispersion [OD]
 

The product is often used in combination with anionic emulsifier components such as Phenylsulfonat CA and Phenylsulfonat CAL and other non-ionic emulsifiers as EO-PO block copolymers (Emulsogen 3510, EP 4901) and Emulsogen® TS types.

Emulsogen EL360, polyethoxy glyceride, does not contain NPE, is an environmentally friendly emulsifier that does not irritate the eyes. 
Emulsogen EL 360 has good emulsifying, wetting, penetrating, dispersing and solubilizing abilities.

Emulsogen EL360, the main purpose: electroplating emulsification, wetting, metal cutting processing, used as a solubilizing carrier in electroplating passivation additives, anti-silver discoloration agent additives.

Usage: Emulsogen EL360 ethoxylates is applicable to various emulsifiers, especially in organic phosphorus emulsifier, where it shows a prominent wetting and synergetic effect. 
Emulsogen EL360 Ethoxylates can be used as industiral emulsifier, penetrating agent, antifoaming agent, additive, foaming agent, stabilizer, lubricant, solubilizing agent, levelling agent, antistatic agent, washing agent, dispersing agent, parting agent, degreasing agent, plasticizing agent, thickening agent, viscosity conditioning agent and chemical intermediate.

Emulsogen EL 360 , is the registered trademark of BASF Corp. for its version of polyethoxylated castor oil. 
Emulsogen EL 360 is prepared by reacting 35 moles of ethylene oxide with each mole of castor oil. 
The resulting product is a mixture (CAS number 61791-12-6): the major component is the material in which the hydroxyl groups of the castor oil triglyceride have ethoxylated with ethylene oxide to form polyethylene glycol ethers. 
Minor components are the polyethyelene glycol esters of ricinoleic acid, polyethyelene glycols and polyethyelene glycol ethers of glycerol. 
Emulsogen EL 360 is a synthetic, nonionic surfactant used to stabilize emulsions of nonpolar materials in water.

Usage 
1.Emulsogen EL 360 is also known as emulsifier EL-40, the corresponding foreign trade brand number is Emulsogen EL 360. 
Emulsogen EL 360 is a nonionic surfactant. 
Light yellow transparent viscous liquid. 
Soluble in water, soluble in oils, fatty acids and various organic solvents. 
Emulsogen EL 360 has higher solubility in cold water than in hot water and good emulsifying properties for mineral oil. 
1% aqueous solution pH = 6-8. 
The HLB value is 13.1% aqueous solution cloud point ≥ 85 °C. 
Acid, hard water and inorganic salts are also resistant to alkali at low temperatures, but strong bases can hydrolyze them.

2. Suitable for emulsification of various vegetable oils, mineral oils, fats, waxes, etc. 
Emulsogen EL 360 can also be used as a component of an antistatic spinning oil for synthetic fibers such as polyacrylonitrile, a component of a pesticide emulsifier, a wool conditioner “and a hair oil”.
