EMULSOGEN TS 298

EMULSOGEN TS 298 is a nonionic dispersing and wetting agent for organic pigments in dispersions, preparations and coatings. 

EMULSOGEN TS 298 is composed of Tristyrylphenol-Polyglycolether with approximately 29 moles ethylene oxide. 
EMULSOGEN TS 298 is free of any additional biocide. 

EMULSOGEN TS 298 has a HLB value of about 15 and is used for aqueous pigment dispersions, preparations, paints and coatings.
EMULSOGEN TS 298 is suitable for organic pigments and carbon black to produce stable, free flowing pigment preparations with high solid contents. 

EMULSOGEN TS 298 improves the compatibility of pigments and minerals with polymers and binders. 
EMULSOGEN TS 298 also prevents skinning of emulsion polymers in paints and improves the shelf life and stability of emulsion paints.

Uses of EMULSOGEN TS 298:

Dosage: 
20 – 40 % based on pigments

EMULSOGEN TS 298 improves the compatibility of pigments and minerals with polymers and binders. 
EMULSOGEN TS 298 prevents skinning of emulsion polymers in paints and improves the shelf life and stability of emul-sion paints.

0,3 – 1,0 % based on the paint formulation
