Ethylene bis(stearamide) is used as lubricant with good inner or outer lubricant action and has good coordination when used together with other lubricants as high grade alcohols, aliphatic acid esters, calcium stearate and paraffin. In the processing of ABS, AS, hard PVC, polyformaldehyde, polycarbonate, polyurethane and phenolformaldehyde resins, EBS is used as lubricant demoulding agent with a quantity of 0.5~1.5 %.

Used as anti-adhesive agent for various polymer film or sheets.
An addition of 0.5-1 % of it can not only prevent the occurrence of air bubbles but also make the plastic bags be slippery so as to be opened easily.

Ethylene bis(stearamide) is an excellent plastics processing auxiliary which is suitable for almost all thermosetting and thermoplastic plastics.
Ethylene bis(stearamide) has good lubricant property and good anti-adhesive,anti-static properties and can improve remarkably the dispersion of the plastics and fillers.
So Ethylene bis(stearamide) is widely used as lubricant,demoulding agent,slippery opening agent and plastic dispersing agent.
Addition in plastics processing can improve the melting flowability, raise the working efficiency and retrieve the insufficiency of the fineness of the moulds to make the processed products smooth with luster as well as uniform and bright in color.

Ethylene bis(stearamide) is used as lubricant with good inner or outer lubricant action and has good coordination when used together with other lubricants as high grade alcohols,aliphatic acid esters,calcium stearate and paraffin. 
In the processing of ABS,AS,hard PVC, polyformaldehyde, polycarbonate, polyurethane and phenolformaldehyde resins, it is used as lubricant demoulding agent with a quantity of 0.5~1.5 %. 
Ethylene bis(stearamide) can be used as nucleation transparency agent to reduce the nucleating time in compounds such as polyolefins,polyformaldehyde and polyamide, promote the structure of resin to become fine, thus improve the mechanical property and transparency of the products.

Ethylene bis(stearamide) can also be used as processing auxiliary of rubber.
Besides the lubricant demoulding property and modifying performance of filler surface,it can raise the surface fineness of rubber pipes and rubber plates to act as rubber surface polishing agent.
Ethylene bis(stearamide) improves the kneading, processing and vulcanization performance of rubber grains in the processing of flouro-rubber. 

Ethylene bis(stearamide) can be added in the coating production to increase the uniform dispersion of pigment and filler,inprove the surface leveling property of baking paint,prevent the stripping off of paint filmand improve water-proof and acid-resistant and alkaliresistant property.
In nitrocellulose lacquers, Ethylene bis(stearamide) can bring about the flatting action. 

In synthetic fiber industry,Ethylene bis(stearamide) can improve the heat-resistant, weather-resistant property of polyester and polyamide and bring about certain antistatic effects. 
Ethylene bis(stearamide) is used in the spinning of antistatic nylon fiber as additive and also is able to reduce the breaking of yarn. 
Ethylene bis(stearamide) has excellent colour and colour stability and special property showing the low viscosity in molten form under high temperature.

Compatibility: Ethylene bis(stearamide) is compatible with most waxes and plasticizers. 
The polarity of its two central amide group and the non-polarity of the two fatty chains make this product an excellent surface-active agent which in incompatible with virtually all solvents and most polymer systems. 
When incorporated into polymers Ethylene bis(stearamide) will “bloom” to the surface, coating it with a monomolecular layer. 
Ethylene bis(stearamide)'s incompatibility is the basis for several other properties and many of the products commercial applications.

Lubricity: Ethylene bis(stearamide) fatty chain imparts excellent slip properties to surfaces upon which it collects. 
Because of this, Ethylene bis(stearamide) is a good blending agent. 
Corrosion Resistance: A coating of Ethylene bis(stearamide) will improve surface’s resistance to salt, heat, moisture and most solvents.

Antistatic Properties: Ethylene bis(stearamide) will lower static charge generation in plastic film by reducing friction at the surface. 
Electrical Properties: Ethylene bis(stearamide) can be used in many electrical applications without detracting from the electrical properties of the resins into which Ethylene bis(stearamide) is incorporated.

EBS has many applications in many fields: cosmetics, paints, plastic industry, chalkboards. 
Particularly in the plastic industry, EBS has many applications such as lubricants, mold release agents, dispersants, stabilizers. styrofoam, etc.

Ethylene bis(stearamide) is a compound composed of a long flexible hydrocarbon chain combined with a polar amide radical, creating a multipolar molecular structure. 
When used in plastics, EBS is compatible with both non-polar resins and those containing polar groups. 
Due to the flexibility of the EBS circuit, they tend to move to the outside of the plastic flow, thereby creating a lot of surface features for the product: glossy, smooth, and sticky, etc.
