Known methods for producing Ethylene Glycol Monoethyl Ether Acetate by transesterification of ethyl cellosolve with ethyl (or butyl -) - acetate. Alkali metal alkoxides, aluminum or titanium alkoxides in the presence of anhydrous AlCl used as catalysts.
