FIREMASTER 600 / 602

Low scorch

Firemaster 600 and 602 are about 10 percent more efficient than the 550 and 552 versions.
They show high scorch resistance, produce minimal effect on processing, properties and cigarette smolder values, and have a good environmental profile.

Firemaster 600
Firemaster 600 is a low viscosity, high efficiency, phosphorus and bromine based flame retardant. 
Firemaster 600 does not contain brominated diphenyl ether (PBDE). 

Firemaster 600 shows outstanding resistance to foam discoloration, minimal effect upon IFD and compression set and produces white foam. 
Firemaster 600 eliminates center softening in HR foams and even distribution throughout foam. 

Firemaster 600 shows increased compatibility with polyols and good smolder performance in high density foam. 
Firemaster 600 is used in HR, viscoelastic (memory) and conventional polyurethane foams. 
The shelf life of Firemaster 600 is 6-12 months.

Firemaster 602
Firemaster 602 is a low viscosity, high efficiency, phosphorus and bromine based flame retardant. 
Firemaster 602 does not contain brominated diphenyl ether (PBDE). 

Firemaster 602 shows outstanding resistance to foam discoloration, minimal effect upon IFD and compression set and produces white foam. 
Firemaster 602 eliminates center softening in HR foams and even distribution throughout foam. 

Firemaster 602 shows increased compatibility with polyols and good smolder performance in high density foam. 
Firemaster 602 iis recommended for flexible polyurethane foams and mechanically cooled foams. 
The shelf life of Firemaster 602 is 6-12 months.

Firemaster(R) 600 and Firemaster 602, two new flame retardants for flexible polyurethane foam that are approximately 10% more efficient than Firemaster 550 and Firemaster 552. 
Each of these new products exhibits outstanding scorch resistance, minimal effect upon foam processing, physical properties and cigarette smolder as well as a favorable environmental profile. 
Firemaster 602 is specifically recommended for mechanically cooled foams. 

Flexible polyurethane foams (FPF), which are used primarily as cushioning in furniture, mattress and automotive applications, generally incorporate flame retardant additives to achieve fire safety. 
In recent years, flame retardant standards for such products--e.g. the new Consumer Product Safety Commission standard for mattress flammability--have become increasingly more stringent. 

At the same time, society demands that flame retardants are environmentally responsible. 
Firemaster 600 and Firemaster 602 do both and represent the latest in our ongoing commitment to offer only those products meeting the highest of environmental and fire-safety standards to our customers.

Firemaster 552 is a low viscosity, phosphorus and bromine based flame retardant. 
Firemaster 552 is an effective flame retardant, even at low density and does not contain PBDE. 

Firemaster 800
Firemaster 800 is a phosphorus bromine-based flame retardant. 
Firemaster 800 eliminates center softening in HR foams. 

Firemaster 520
Firemaster 520 is a reactive, low viscosity, halogenated flame retardant. 
Firemaster 520 offers greater processing latitude and improved polymer curing in comparison to PHT4-diol.

Firemaster 508
Firemaster 508 is a reactive, low viscosity, halogenated flame retardant blend. 
Firemaster 508 is a blend of PHT4- Diol™ and phosphate ester.  

Firemaster 2100R
Firemaster 2100R is a non-blooming, general purpose, brominated, high-purity, non-DPO based flame retardant. 
Firemaster 2100R possesses excellent color, high thermal stability and good UV stability.

Firemaster 600
Firemaster 600 is a low viscosity, high efficiency, phosphorus and bromine based flame retardant. 
Firemaster 600 does not contain brominated diphenyl ether (PBDE). 

Firemaster 504
Firemaster 504 is a halogenated (bromine), flame retardant. 
Firemaster 504 exhibits low viscosity (pours at room temperature) offering improved process handling and storage.

Firemaster PBS-64HW
Firemaster PBS-64HW is a halogenated, non-blooming, polymeric flame retardant. 
This homopolymer of dibromostyrene possesses excellent thermal/color stability and superior flow in glass.

Firemaster 602
Firemaster 602 is a low viscosity, high efficiency, phosphorus and bromine based flame retardant. 
Firemaster 602 does not contain brominated diphenyl ether (PBDE). 

Firemaster BZ-54
Firemaster BZ-54 is a low viscosity, halogenated flame retardant. 
Firemaster BZ-54 shows low volatility in automotive fogging tests, superior hydrolytic stability and improved adhesion in flame.

Firemaster BZ-54HP
Firemaster BZ‐54HP is a low viscosity, halogenated flame retardant. 
Firemaster BZ-54HP possesses outstanding resistance to foam discoloration during production. 

Firemaster CP-44HF
Firemaster CP-44HF is a non-blooming, non-dusting, bromine-based polymeric flame retardant. 
Firemaster CP-44HF shows improved compatibility with the host polymer and eliminates need for drip suppressant.
