Genapol EP 2584 is a mixture of synthetic aliphatic alcohols with 12-15 carbons on alkyl chain C12-15 alcohols uses and applications include: Detergent and emulsifier intermediate; base material for preparation of alcohol ethoxylates, sulfates, and ethoxysulfates; emollient, emulsion stabilizer, viscous control agent in cosmetics; emollient for creams, lotions.

Stabillity and compatibility:
Unaffected by water hardness constituents and considerably resistant to aqueous acids and alkalis. As nonionic surfactant it can be used in combination with other non-ionic compounds and with anionic and cationic substances.

Storage:
Genapol EP 2584 can be stored for at least 2 years in original sealed containers at room temperature under the recommended conditions. Protect from exposure to cold during transport and storage. The properties of Genapol EP 2584 are reversibly altered by exposure to cold. If Genapol EP 2584 becomes turbid, thickens or freezes through exposure to cold, thaw slowly at room temperature and afterwards stir briefly.
Preservation:
No preservative is added to Genapol EP 2584 as it is self-preserving.
