Glycereth-31 is a synthetic glycerin-based ingredient used as an emollient and thickening agent in cosmetics.
Glycerath-31 is a product of glycerin and polyethylene glycol. 
Glycereth-31 comes as clear to slightly hazy odorless liquid.

USES of Glycereth-31:

Glycereth-31 is a high HLB, ethoxylated, nonionic ether of glycerine. 
Glycereth-31 is used for cosmetics to add body and texture (humectant). 
Glycereth-31 finds an application as tackifier and humectant for adhesives.


APPLICATIONS of Glycereth-31:

-Hair care (Shampoos, Conditioners & Styling) 

-Skin care (Facial care, Facial cleansing, Body care, Baby care) 

FUNCTIONS of Glycereth-31:


-Humectant: 

retaining and/or preserving the moisture in a product during use.

-Glycereth-31 Skin Conditioning: 

maintaining the skin in good condition.

-Glycereth-31 surfactant - cleansing: 

wetting body surfaces, emulsifying or solubilizing oils, and suspending soil (generally, such ingredients contribute to the foaming and lathering properties of cleansing products).

-Glycereth-31 viscosity controlling: 

increasing or decreasing the viscosity (thickness) of cosmetics.

-Moisturizer: 

Glycereth-31 Maintains the water content in the packaging of a cosmetic product and on the skin.

-Skin care: 

Glycereth-31 Keeps skin in good condition

-Surfactant: 

Glycereth-31 reduces the surface tension of cosmetics and contributes to the even distribution of the product when used.

-Viscosity control: 

Glycereth-31 Increases or decreases the viscosity of cosmetics
