Golpanol DEP is sparingly soluble in water but readily soluble in acids.

The chemical structure of Golpanol types is different providing individual functions.

They
-enhance gloss and brightness,
-achieve surface levelling,
-reduce internal stress,
-improve ductility and throwing power.

Golpanol products are special additives for nickel plating.
Golpanol products are used besides others for decorative applications.
In chrome plating the chrome layer itself is very thin.
The subjacent level is nickel as the primer layer providing brightness.

Applications:
Golpanol DEP is used to formulate brightener additives employed in the electroplating industry.
Golpanol DEP is used as a top brightener in nickel electroplating baths at a concentration of 1 –10 mg/l.
Golpanol DEP performs well in combination with other top brighteners and basic brighteners.
