IMPRANİL C

Impranil C is a non-ionic polyurethane dispersion designed for applications requiring flexible, durable, and high-performance polymer films.
Impranil C is supplied as a milky-white liquid dispersion in water, making it environmentally more favorable compared to solvent-based polyurethane systems.

Impranil C is a toluene diisocyanate-based (TDI) polyurethane resin.
Because Impranil C  is a formulated mixture of a polymer matrix and solvents, Impranil C  does not have a single designated CAS number.
Instead, the raw polymer is treated as a trade secret, while the product itself is commonly formulated in solvents like Acetone (CAS No. 67-64-1).

Impranil C products are waterborne polyurethane systems designed to provide flexible, durable, and high-performance polymer films after drying.
They are widely used as binders in coatings and textile finishing.

Impranil C is a polyester urethane adduct based on toluene diisocyanate that must be crosslinked by the addition of polyisocyanate before use.
Impranil C has a viscosity at 23°C (30% in Ethylacetat gelöst) of 27,000-53,000 mPa·s.
Impranil C is suitable for formulating coatings with medium-hard handle for use in many different textile applications such as, protective clothing, sportswear, tarpaulins, awnings, fire hoses and sleeping bad undersides.
Impranil C has good adhesion, good resistance to hydrolysis, good weather stability, high abrasion resistance and resistance to dry cleaning.

Impranil C is used as a solvent for fats, oils, waxes, resins, rubber, plastics, lacquers, varnishes and rubber cements.
Impranil C is used to make many chemical compounds, rayon, photographic films, plastics, fibres, drugs and other chemicals, for storing acetylene gas, and is present in paint and varnish removers, purifying paraffin and for hardening and dehydrating tissues.

Impranil C (CAS No. 67-64-1) is a colorless, highly volatile, and flammable organic liquid with a characteristic pungent odor.
Impranil C is the simplest and smallest ketone, widely used as a powerful solvent in industrial, laboratory, and cosmetic applications.

Impranil C is an aromatic polyester urethane adduct (based on toluene diisocyanate) manufactured by Covestro.
Impranil C functions as a base component for formulating flexible coatings, protective clothing, and synthetic leather, but must be cross-linked with a polyisocyanate before use.

Impranil C Solution is a polyester urethane adduct based on toluene diisocyanate that must be crosslinked by the addition of polyisocyanate before use.
This product has a viscosity at 23°C of 27,000-53,000 mPa·s, and a non-volatile content (0.9-1.1g / 1h / 125°C, convection oven) of 30 ± 1%.

Impranil C is suitable for formulating coatings with medium-hard handle for use in many different textil applications such as, covers for containers, light conveyer belts, camping articles and ironing board covers.
This product offers good adhesions, resistance to dry cleaning, high abrasion resistant, good weather stability, and good resistance to hydrolysis.

Physical properties
Impranil C is a colourless liquid with a distinct odour.
Impranil C is highly flammable. Acetone is used to dissolve other chemical substances and mixes readily with water, alcohol, dimethylformamide, chloroform, ether and most oils.
Impranil C is considered a volatile organic compound by the National Pollutant Inventory.
Specific Gravity: 0.786
Melting Point: -94°C
Boiling Point: 56.5°C
Relative vapour density: 0.788
Flash point: -18°C

Chemical properties
Impranil C can polymerise rapidly due to heating and under the influence of air, light and on contact with a catalyst, strong oxidisers and metals such as copper and aluminium, with fire or explosion hazard.
As a gas mixed with air, acetone is a fire and explosion hazard.
On standing, acetone can form peroxides which may then explode.
Impranil C will react with iron and steel in the presence of moisture.
Impranil C is capable of dissolving plastic glasses frames, jewellery, pens and pencils, rayon stockings and other rayon garments.
