IRON OXIDE ORANGE

Iron oxide orange powder is a manufactured pigment from Germany.
Iron oxide orange is a dark earthy orange pigment, suitable for all kinds of media.
Mix with various bases to create artists oils, watercolour paints, Acrylics and pastels as well as lime paints, plasters, mortars and grouts.

CAS:    20344-49-4

EINECS:    243-746-4

Iron oxide orange pigment powder is a synthetic inorganic pigment, ferric oxide hydrate.
In order to have a redder shade than Iron oxide Yellow, this pigment contains a small amount of the red coloured hematite (Fe2O3).
The pigment has excellent light fastness.

Iron oxide orange is a common iron oxide pigment used in developing building materials, paints, rubber, ink, paper, plastic and others.
Offering excellent light and temperature resistance, Iron oxide orange also offers strong color strength and good dispersion.
Iron oxide orange has a density of 4.2-4.6 g/cm3 and a moisture content of approximately 1%.

Iron oxide orange, Crystalline, also known as Ferric acid or iron(III) oxide-hydroxide, is commonly used as a pigment, in cosmetics, and in tattoo inks; Iron oxide orange is can also be used as a phosphate binder in aquarium water treatment.
Ungraded products supplied by Spectrum are indicative of a grade suitable for general industrial use or research purposes and typically are not suitable for human consumption or therapeutic use.

Uses
Iron oxide orange, so in that sense these materials are important precursors to iron metal and its many alloys.
Iron oxide orange are important pigments, coming in a variety of colors (black, red, yellow).
Among their many advantages, they are inexpensive, strongly colored, and nontoxic.
Iron oxide orange is a component of magnetic recording tapes.

Iron oxide orange are chemical compounds composed of iron and oxygen.
Several iron oxides are recognized.
All are black magnetic solids.
Often they are non-stoichiometric.
Iron oxide orange are a related class of compounds, perhaps the best known of which is rust.

Iron oxide orange and oxyhydroxides are widespread in nature and play an important role in many geological and biological processes.
They are used as iron ores, pigments, catalysts, and in thermite, and occur in hemoglobin.
Iron oxide orange are inexpensive and durable pigments in paints, coatings and colored concretes.
Colors commonly available are in the "earthy" end of the yellow/orange/red/brown/black range. When used as a food coloring, Iron oxide orange has E number E172.

Iron oxide orange, γ-phase is used in purifying water and as an absorbent in chemical processes.
Iron oxide orange is involved in the preparation of iron oxide-hydroxides nanoparticles, which is used as a very good adsorbent for lead removal from aquatic media.
Iron oxide orange is also used as a pigment, as a catalyst and in aquarium water treatment as a phosphate binder.
Further, Iron oxide orange is employed in the paints-lacquers-varnishes industry.

Advantages:

1)Bright-colored exquisite powder;
2)Good weatherability; Lightfastness, heat-resistant and alkali resistant;
3)Strong tinting power, excellent covering ability and fine dispersion;
