Kieserite's hardness is 3.5 and crystallizes in the monoclinic crystal system.
Gunningite is the zinc member of the kieserite group of minerals.

Occurrence:
Kieserite commonly occurs in marine evaporites and rarely in volcanic environments as a sublimate.
Kieserite occurs in association with halite, carnallite, polyhalite, anhydrite, boracite, sulfoborite, leonite, epsomite and celestine

Uses:
Kieserite is used in the production of Epsom salt and as a fertilizer, the overall global annual usage in agriculture in the mid 1970s was 2.3 million tons
Kieserite is also used for cleaning hard water deposits from tiles, stones, and other pool and fountain lining materials.
Due to Kieserite's hardness, which is greater than hard water deposits but less than tiles and other water feature linings, it is blasted at the hard water deposits to remove them.

Kieserite is a sulfate mineral
Kieserite is hydrated magnesium sulfate (MgSO4·H2O), that is abundant in evaporite deposits.

Kieserite often occurs as intergrowths with halite or associated with carnallite and other potassium salts.
Kieserite is typically used in cropping, horticulture, market gardening, and for maize production.

Kieserite is a naturally occurring mineral that is chemically known as magnesium sulphate monohydrate.
Kieserite is mined from ancient marine deposits and used in the agricultural industry as a fertiliser source for magnesium and sulphur.

Kieserite is slowly water soluble and suitable for soil application to a wide range of horticultural and broad acre crops.
Kieserite is not suitable for fertigation or foliar application.

In granular form is suited for blending with other granualr fertilisers for custom blends
Dissolves slowly with soil mosture to better match ongoing plant demand
Will not leach as quickly as soil applied magnesium sulphate heptahydrate
Supplementing magnesium will increase chlorophyll production and increase photosynthesis in plants
Ideal for use on crops grown in low magnesium soils to increase productivity

Kieserite is a granulated compound fertiliser which is ideal for crops with an immediate magnesium requirement containing 27MgO and 50So3.
Kieserite is a fast acting water soluble fertiliser which is available to plants at all PH levels.

Kieserite Granular is an excellent source of fast-release magnesium and sulphur, both of which are present in their water-soluble form.
Kieserite Granular is particularly useful in alleviating acute magnesium deficiencies in high-value crops, for example, horticultural crops.

Kieserite's Benefits:
Formulated for use a standalone fertiliser, but may be blended with selected products
Kieserite provides soluble magnesium and sulphate, ensuring a rapidly available supply for growing plants
Kieserite is ideal for correcting deficiencies in crops
Kieserite is good-quality, granular product, suitable for broadcasting or drilling next to the seed
Kieserite (MgSO4· H2O) is used in the agricultural industry as a source for both magnesium and sulphur.

Most commonly used in horticulture, one of its great benefits is that it is suitable for all types of crops and for use in any type of soil, regardless of pH level.
Kieserite is a fast-acting water soluble fertiliser and is the preferred choice for situations where magnesium is required urgently.
The sulphate form releases the magnesium over a four to six week period to the soil.

Kieserite a natural occurring mineral is also known as also known as magnesium sulphate monohydrate and is suitable for soil application to a wide range of horticultural and broad acre crops.
Kieserite is not suitable for fertigation or foliar application

Kieserite is a chemical compound that is used as an antacid
Kieserite is used to treat and prevent low blood magnesium levels

Kieserite is used as a laxative.
Kieserite is also used in the preparation of magnesium metal and in the purification of magnesium from other metal
Kieserite crystallizes from water solutions of magnesium salts with the formula MgSO4·HO.

The reaction mechanism for this compound involves three steps:
formation of anhydrous sodium sulfate;
hydration with water vapor to form hydrated sodium sulfate;
reaction with redox potential to produce MgSO4·HO.

Kieserite reacts with phosphorus pentoxide at high temperatures to produce magnesium metal by thermal decomposition.
Kieserite is a moderately water and acid soluble Magnesium source for uses compatible with sulfates.

Sulfate compounds are salts or esters of sulfuric acid formed by replacing one or both of the hydrogens with a metal.
Most metal sulfate compounds are readily soluble in water for uses such as water treatment, unlike fluorides and oxides which tend to be insoluble.

Organometallic forms are soluble in organic solutions and sometimes in both aqueous and organic solutions.
Kieserite is generally immediately available in most volumes.

Ultra high purity, high purity, submicron and nanopowder forms may be considered.
Kieserite, also known as sulfate hydrate is a magnesium salt holding one water of crystallization.
Kieserite is an industrial chemical made up of the elements magnesium, sulfur, oxygen, and hydrogen.
