INTRODUCTION & OVERVIEW
Levelling Agent HL-988 is a high-performance, non-ionic surfactant specifically designed for the textile industry.
It acts as an exceptional migration and levelling agent in the dyeing of polyester, polyester/cellulose blends, and other synthetic fibers with disperse dyes.
Its unique polymeric structure promotes even dye distribution, eliminates barriness, and improves color yield and fastness properties.
2. KEY PROPERTIES & SPECIFICATIONS
Ionic Nature: Non-ionic
pH (1% solution): 6.0 - 7.0
Solubility: Dispersible in water at any ratio
Compatibility: Excellent compatibility with most ionic types of dyes and auxiliaries.
Stability: Stable to acids, alkalis, and hard water under normal processing conditions.
FUNCTIONS & APPLICATIONS
Primary Function: Provides superior migration and levelling of disperse dyes on polyester and its blends.
Key Benefits:
Eliminates uneven dyeing and barriness caused by fiber structural differences.
Improves bath exhaustion and color yield.
Enhances the reproducibility of dyeing recipes.
Good dispersing and anti-precipitation properties, preventing dye agglomeration.
Can be used in both atmospheric and high-temperature (HT) dyeing machines.
Typical Application: Used in exhaust dyeing processes. Dosage typically ranges from 0.5 - 2.0 g/L, depending on depth of shade and machine type.
HANDLING & SAFETY (MSDS SUMMARY)
Storage: Store in a cool, dry, and well-ventilated place. Keep container tightly closed.
Shelf Life: Typically 12 months from date of manufacture when stored properly.
Handling: Use with adequate ventilation. Avoid contact with eyes and skin. Wear appropriate protective equipment (gloves, safety goggles).
First Aid: In case of eye contact, rinse immediately with plenty of water and seek medical advice. For skin contact, wash thoroughly with soap and water.
