LUPRAGEN N 103

CAS Number: 109-02-4
EC Number: 203-640-0
Molecular Formula: C5H11NO
Molecular Weight: 101.147 g/mol

LUPRAGEN N 103 is a catalyst for urethane reactions, for epoxy reactions and co-catalysts for radical initiated polymerization of unsaturated polyester resins.
LUPRAGEN N 103 is used to modify epoxy resins.

The modified epoxy resins are used for cationic electro deposition coatings.
LUPRAGEN N 103 is used as catalyst for the production of polyurethanes (e.g. for plastic parts).

Features and Uses of LUPRAGEN N 103:
A liquid tertiary amine catalyst.
Can improve foam cure and demolding time.

LUPRAGEN N 103 is an excellent candidate to consider for use in water-NCO reaction in rigid polyurethane foams.
LUPRAGEN N 103 is typically suitable to replace DMCHA in formulations using a high level of water as blowing or co-blowing agent can reduce surface friability and improve adhesion of foam to substrates.

LUPRAGEN N 103 promotes the urethane reaction and is commonly used in high-water rigid foam applications to reduce friability.
LUPRAGEN N 103 has a characteristic but low amine odor, and is soluble in water and in most organic solvents.
LUPRAGEN N 103 is used in flexible slabstock and rigid foam applications.

LUPRAGEN N 103 promotes the urethane reaction and is commonly used in high-water rigid foam applications to reduce friability.
LUPRAGEN N 103 is also used for flexible slabstock foam applications.

Can be used as the sole amine catalyst or in combination,
Low VOC options available,
Colorless options available,
“Non-formaldehyde” production route option available.

Stability of LUPRAGEN N 103:
Stable.
Incompatible with strong acids, strong oxidizing agents.

Storage of LUPRAGEN N 103:
Recommends that our catalysts be stored in a dry and cool area under appropriate ventilation conditions.
Each container should be closed tightly to avoid contamination with moisture or other negative influences that could change the products performance in the end use.
