Medium Chain Triglycerides is a natural coconut and palm kernel oil derived mixture ofglycerin triester with caprylic and capric acids, which can be used as an alternative to mineral and vegetable oils.
Medium Chain Triglycerides is a mixed ester composed of caprylic and capric fatty acids attached to a glycerin backbone.

Medium Chain Triglycerides is an excellent moisturising emollient oil with good skin care properties, giving a pleasant non-slippery after feel on the skin.
Medium Chain Triglycerides is used as a less oily alternative to castor oil in lipsticks and in colour cosmetics

Medium Chain Triglycerides is a colorless to slightly yellowish oily liquid that is practically odorless and tasteless.
Medium Chain Triglycerides solidifies at about 0°C. The oil is free from catalytic residues or the products of cracking.
Medium Chain Triglycerides containing the tri-glycerides of medium chain, saturated fatty acids mainly C-8 (Caprylic) and C-10 (Capric).

Medium Chain Triglycerides are triglycerides with two or three fatty acids having an aliphatic tail of 6–12 carbon atoms, i.e. medium-chain fatty acids (MCFAs).
Rich food sources for commercial extraction of MCTs include palm kernel oil and coconut oil.

APPLICATIONS:
Medium Chain Triglycerides also promote fat oxidation and reduce food intake
Recommended by Medium Chain Triglycerides, some endurance athletes and the bodybuilding community

Medium Chain Triglycerides can be used in gels and foams and suppositories.

Medium Chain Triglycerides also suitable for use as solvents and oily lubricants in soft gels.
Medium Chain Triglycerides diffuse passively from the GI tract into the portal system (longer fatty acids are absorbed into the lymphatic system) without the need for modification such as long chain fatty acids or very long chain fatty acids.

In addition, Medium Chain Triglycerides do not need bile salts for digestion.
Patients with malnutrition, malabsorption or certain fatty acid metabolism disorders are treated with Medium Chain Triglycerides

That's because Medium Chain Triglycerides don't require energy for absorption, use, or storage.
Medium Chain Triglycerides are generally considered a good source of biologically inert energy that the human body finds fairly easy to metabolize.

Medium Chain Triglycerides have potentially beneficial properties in protein metabolism.
However, in some cases, Medium Chain Triglycerides may be contraindicated due to its tendency to induce ketogenesis and metabolic acidosis.

Medium Chain Triglycerides have the ability to be rapidly absorbed by the Body.

Medium Chain Triglycerides are fats naturally found in certain foods, such as whole foods and dairy products.

Medium Chain Triglycerides are chemical compound consisting of a glycerol backbone and three fatty acids.
Medium Chain Triglycerides can have a different number of carbon atoms attached to them, forming an aliphatic tail that determines the type of triglyceride.

Medium Chain Triglycerides has 13 to 21 carbons in each aliphatic tail.
Medium Chain Triglycerides are located right in the middle with an aliphatic tail of six to 12 carbon atoms in at least two of the three fatty acids.
