Melagard MP is a melamine phosphate grade. 
Melagard MP exhibits excellent flame retardance. 
Melagard MP shows good compatibility with polyolefin, linear polyester, polyamide, thermosetting resins and rubber.


Melagard MP is a white powder, non-toxic, odorless; Insoluble in water and most organic solvents.
Melagard MP is a melamine-based halogen-free flame retardant. 
Melagard MP is non-toxic, environmentally friendly and exhibits low corrosivity, high compatibility with many resins and good colorability. 


This allows the production of compounds requiring also good combination of electrical and mechanical properties, low density and low smokes density. 
Melagard MP is suitable for use in flame-proofing clear unfilled PA articles to achieve high demanding applications (UL 94 V0) in nylons (PA66 and PA6) while exhibiting good retention of tensile strength properties and significant increase of tensile modulus.

FEATURES OF MELAGARD MP:
1. Thermal stability: 
Considering the highest processing stability, Melagard MP and its derivatives are the preferred compounds.

2. Flame retardancy: 
Firstly, Melagard MP can produce a P-N synergistic flame retardant effect; 
The second is the optimal match between Melagard MP's decomposition temperature and the decomposition temperature of the coating; 
The third is that Melagard MP and its derivatives have the best flame retardancy and can also increase the amount of carbon layer formation.

PRODUCT INFORMATION OF MELAGARD MP:
Melamine-based flame retardants work by decreasing temperature and displacing oxygen.  
In 3 steps, the melamine decomposes under endothermic reactions, which lowers the temperature.  

In the final, third step of decomposition in a fire, nitrogen is formed, which displaces or dilutes the oxygen.
The phosphorus in this product also forms a char.
The use of intumescent coatings and polyolefins is approximately 25%.
