MERGAL 753

MERGAL 753 is a formaldehyde-free broad-spectrum preservative used to prevent microbial deterioration caused by bacteria, fungi and yeast in water-based systems. 
MERGAL 753 is a highly concentrated, free-flowing dispersion. 
MERGAL 753 is free of formaldehyde and VOC, ensure lower environmental impact & favourable GHS labeling.

Broad-spectrum bactericide/fungicide.

MERGAL 753 is used as an in-can preservative to prevent deterioration and degradation caused by bacteria, fungi and yeast in aqueous systems.

MERGAL 753 provides zero VOC, low odor, broad spectrum protection against microbial degradation in aqueous systems. 

MERGAL 753 is a zero-VOC, formaldehyde-free dispersion with broad-spectrum efficacy against the bacteria, fungi, and yeast that cause deterioration of aqueous systems. 
The material can reportedly provide effective in-package microbial protection using less total volume per product batch compared with all other competing technologies. 

The Pest Management Regulatory Agency of Health Canada, in accordance with the Pest Control Products Act, recently approved the usage of MERGAL 753 wet-state preservative for the in-package protection of coatings and allied products.

Applications of MERGAL 753:
MERGAL 753 is used as an in-can preservative to prevent deterioration and degradation caused by bacteria, fungi and yeast in aqueous systems.

Application Rate of MERGAL 753:
MERGAL 753 is an effective preservative for most aqueous applications. 
MERGAL 753 is suggested for use in aqueous or water-containing products and systems, including industrial and institutional products to control growth of bacteria and fungi. 

Suggested rate is 0.02-0.15% of MERGAL 753 in the fmished product. 
For example, use 0.2-1.5Ibs. of MERGAL 753 per 1000 Ibs. of fmished product.

First Aid of MERGAL 753:

If In Eyes:
Hold eye open and rinse slowly and gently with water for 15-20 minutes.
Remove contact lenses, if present, after the first 5 minutes, then continue rinsing.
Call a poison control center or doctor for treatment advice.

If Swallowed:
Call a poison control center or doctor immediately for treatment advice.
Do not give anything to drink.

Do not induce vomiting.
Do not give anything to an unconscious person.

If Inhaled:
Move person to fresh air
If person is not breathing, call 911 or an ambulance, then give artificial respiration, preferably mouth-tn-mouth, if possible.
Call a poison control center or doctor for treatment advice.

Storage and Disposal of MERGAL 753:
Do not contaminate water, food, or feed by storage or disposal. 
Open dumping is prohibited.

Pesticide Storage: 
Protect from frost. 
Iffrozen, allow to thaw and stir well before use.

Pesticide Disposal: 
Pesticide wastes are acutely hazardous. 
Improper disposal of excess pesticide spray mixture or rinsate is a violation of Federal Law. 
If these wastes cannot bc disposed of by use according to label instructions, contact your State pesticide or environmental control agency or the hazardous waste representative at the nearest EPA regional officc for guidance.

Container Disposal: 
Nonrefillable container. 
Do not ~euse or refill this container. 

Clean container promptly after emptying. 
Triple rinse (or equivalent). 
Then offer for recycling or reconditioning, or puncture and dispose of in a sanitary landfill, or by other procedures approved by State and local authorities. 

Triple rinse as follows: 
Empty the remaining contents into application equipment or a mix tank.
Fill the container Y. full with water. 

Replace and tighten closures. 
Tip container on MERGAL 753 side and roll it back and forth, ensuring at least one complete revolution for 30 seconds.

Stand the container on MERGAL 753 end and tip it back and forth several times. 
Empty the rinsate into application equipment or a mix tank or store rinsate for later use or disposal.
Repeat this procedure two more times.
