MERGAL MV1,5

MERGAL MV1.5 is a broad-spectrum in-can preservative used to avoid deterioration and degradation of aqueous systems caused by bacteria, fungi and yeast. 
MERGAL MV1.5 is a highly concentrated, free-flowing, aqueous, VOC-free dispersion product.

MERGAL MV1.5 is a protective agent for liquids in cooling and processing systems.
MERGAL MV1.5 is a highly effective liquid concentrate with bactericidal and fungicidal action with a broad spectrum of action including Legionella. 

At a pH value of approx. 3 - 8.5  this has been proven to have an excellent long-term effect even at low concentrations of use.
MERGAL MV1.5 is used when the bacterial content exceeds 105 colony-forming units per ml or when strong odours occur due to bacteria.
All the included components are biodegradable if diluted sufficiently and do not affect the operation of municipal sewage treatment plants.

Applications of MERGAL MV1.5:
MERGAL MV1.5 is added to the circulating water where there is strong turbulence in order to guarantee optimal distribution in the system.
Preservative to avoid deterioration and degradation of aqueous systems caused by bacteria, fungi and yeast.

MERGAL MV1.5 is usually suitable under the following conditions:
Suggested use levels are reported as percentage of the end-use product.

For the preservation of:
Emulsion paints and coatings: ≤0.2%
Additives in paper, textile and leather production: 0.03 – 0.3 %
Fuel: ≤0.20 %
Glues and adhesives: ≤0.20 %
Polymer dispersions: ≤0.20 %
Pigment and mineral slurries: ≤0.20 %
Other water-based preparations: ≤ 0.3 %
Liquids for water cooling systems: 0.03 - 0.4%
Liquids for processing systems, e.g. paper production: 0.03 - 0.8%
Tubing/piping systems: 0.03 - 0.4 %
Metalworking-Fluids (tankside treatment): 0.03 - 0.1 %

Products intended for non-professional end-use (DIY) are limited to a max. concentration of 0.
1% of the product MERGAL MV1.5.
We recommend checking the compatibility of MERGAL MV1.5 with individual formulations and determination of lowest effective use concentrations in a given formulation prior to large scale application.

First aid measures of MERGAL MV1.5:
Get medical attention. 
If inhaled, remove to fresh air. 

If not breathing, if breathing is irregular or if respiratory arrest occurs, provide artificial respiration or oxygen by trained personnel. 
Do not induce vomiting unless directed to do so by medical personnel. 
Never give anything by mouth to an unconscious person.

Disposal of MERGAL MV1.5:
Add product residues to the waste disposal. 
Recycle packaging properly emptied of residues after cleaning with water.

Dispose of contents and container in accordance with all local, regional, national and international regulations
